Is there a way to reverse that Supreme court ruling?
Congress could specifically legislate it or, as @A2SG pointed out, a subsequent court could overrule this - but that's unlikely.
It is better to have 5 short bills compared to one long bill.
Depends on the bills. 5 short bills that intimately intertwine and affect each other may not be as good as you think. If you have to read the other four bills to understand the 5th, it can get hairy figuring it all out rather than having it all in one place.

Legislators have teams of aides to parse and summarize these bills.

I do see your point. There is no good way of getting around lengthy bills. Hopefully, the bills could at least use some form of plain English for a majority of folks to understand, as legal jargon can get complex real easily.

They are laws (or can become laws). They are written in the precise and legalistic language for a reason.

As for summaries, the Library of Congress site for legislation congress.gov contains summaries of most bills have been processed. For example, here is the page for one active bill (SAVE Act) proposing strict rules regarding voter registration.

That is a good summary, and it is short and sweet. Wait, you know who else is short and sweet. This guy here
Just messin' with you, but I am short at only 5'4 (162 cm).

But yes, it is good that Congress provides the summary of the laws. My AI machine could do the same thing, but would take much longer.

Yep, Hans Blaster showed a summary of one of the House Bills.
And the legislature’s sites also post a summary, full text, proposed changes and actions taken including sponsors and votes if any.

Since this is the propaganda thread I thought I'd throw this off topic response from another thread into this one:

The Heritage Foundation has basically been a guiding force for Republican policy for decades.

Their newly released radical project 2025 was wildly unpopular on arrival, so Republican politicians are now distancing themselves from it.

The issue here is that the document was straight forward and honest about what intellectual conservative think tanks properly want to do.

Well, when you delve into it though a lot of what we hear about 2025 is a lie they get away with telling because people don't read 900 page documents to find out what they actually say in context.

Social security is one. I get daily ads on how Trump is going to end Social Security, that's not even in project 2025... Same with abortion bans. Not even in project 2025. Yet the ads from Kamala all blame project 2025.

However, while conservatives mainly and generally agree on many general topics, each conservative has their own ideas as to how that main objective could be best achieved, or even if it needs to be achieved at all.

This is why we elect individuals after hearing what THEY want to do and how they, individually, want to do implement their agenda for their term in office.

We don't elect think tanks. It's the individual the people think have the best vision who wins, not any think tank.

Think tanks only give us stuff to think about .. at best.

Conservatives aren't a collective. We aren't Marxist's or communists. We are individuals operating as individuals do in a Republic.

That's why Trump's Agenda is called Agenda 47..
