Besides directly mocking Christianity in the intro, it is excessively gory, blurs the lines between good and evil, and not even good entertainment. I joked with my friend after seeing it,"Well it was a bad movie, but it was long, so that makes up for it, right?"

I saw the trailer for it. It looks pretty good. I'd at least like to rent it from Redbox once before I decide if its good or not.

I saw it. I had to read the comic for a class, and I thought it was extremely well-written, so I decided to go see the movie even though I knew it would be a little risque.

They did an excellent job of converting it into a movie, which is rare. I did not, however, approve of the song choice over the wayyy overdone sex scene, which did not need to be taken that far. They took the gore too far as well. The comic did not play up either of these two things nearly as much.

I'm kind of reminded of why I haven't been to an R rated movie in so long, but at the same time, I am in absolute awe of how they took such a complex story and condensed it into a two and a half hour movie without watering it down. They simply took the essence of the story and portrayed all the key elements that went along with it. As someone who appreciates story, I applaud that.

I am fine with sex scenes (although maybe it is because it is too close to a temptation I have a history of struggle with), and liked the book.

Even though that is the case, I doubt that I will see it until someone asks to see it with me.

I found Watchmen to be an excellent movie. It was very well done. The characters were great and the visuals were nift-eh. I'm not bothered by movies that don't espouse Christian values because most modern movies aren't made by or for Christians.

Well, I probably would've gone to see it, but if it's gory and has over-done sex stuff in it, I'll pass. God comes before entertainment.

I didn't like the overall vibe of the movie, the attempted rape scene was painfully uncomfortable to watch, I really didn't expect it, and didn't know how far they would take it. The Godless hopelessness to the movie wrecked it for me. It was a moral mud-pool, I wouldn't recommend it to any Christian. We should be careful what we watch and this movie isn't beneficial or entertaining. The coolness of Dr.Manhattan was outweighed by the eeriness of the concept.

I wish I never saw it.

For a movie thats supposed to be about super heroes, it sure is full of a lot of bad stuff. Maybe its not worth seeing compared to other super hero movies such as Batman or Superman or something. I haven't even seen it yet.

I think the point is that even the masked crime fighters of the world are no more moral or saner than the rest of us. In fact, they're downright wonky in the head.
Though, speaking of superhero movies, the Wolverine movie is coming out sometime soon, I think. Woot.
