Remembering is an essential aspect of our faith and fellowship. God was constantly reminding the ancient Israelites to remember. Remember the Lord's deeds. Remember the Lord redeemed you. Remember the covenant. Remember and don't forget.

Our Lord told his disciples to remember his words. They were promised that the Holy Spirit would come and remind them. They were told to share the bread and cup in remembrance of him. The resurrection angels instructed them, "Remember what he told you while he was with you in Galilee."

How does remembering function in our deeper fellowship with God and one another? How do we maintain our remembrance? Do we just remember what has been passed down, or also God's deeds in our own lives? Any thoughts or experiences you would like to share on this general topic are welcome.

The words we speak are to be from the heavenly Father, even when or especially when /if/ we are dragged in front of judges....

Jesus says it is not our own words we speak then, but the Father speaking through us.

He also says the Father's Spirit will bring to remembrance all that is needed, and He will teach us/ reveal to us (little children) everything concerning salvation in this life and salvation for the life to come.

We are instructed and blessed and delight in His Word "mediate on His TORAH day and night" ....
