That was yesterdays news. Today we are dealing with today's news. My history teacher in High School was a holocaust survivor. He was the one that taught me to keep up with the news and current events. He lived to be 100. Trump was elected to office and he is going to be re elected. I appreciate that the liberals are doing what they can to stop him, but they will not succeed this time anymore then they did last time. Because they are the ones that are lawless, so that is why they accuse people like Trump that actually follows the law.
Yesterday’s news was that you were making unfounded claim about the constitution. Today’s news is that you are changing the subject hoping people forget?

Trump still followed his advise.
Donald has real lawyers, lots of them. Why would he consult a TV evangelist on a legal matter? .....oh never mind, that's Donald for you. Such whimsical decisions.

The point is he is not giving them the information they are requesting. They can do what they want, but it appears he can do what he wants also.
It is an impeachable offense for him not to comply.
The House have the right (and duty) to investigate the Executive branch, if you disagree then feel free to speak up in the future when a Democrat President is being investigated for something.

In the meantime, Trump's failure to comply and his demands on staff not to comply will result in him being impeached for obstruction of Congress.
If you are one of those people that don't care about "obstruction of Congress" when the offender is a Republican then you are just one of those people that will always tow the Republican line, even when the Republican is committing crimes. There are going to be a percentage of people like that.

But, hopefully others who are less short sighted and want a USA which can hold an out of control and criminal President accountable, they will be supportive of investigations and will see that obstruction of Congress must be an impeachable offense.

In the constitution, you should read it sometime. It is really pretty interesting.

Perhaps you should take your own advice...

“The Constitution simply says that the House has the sole power of impeachment. Ultimately, if the House wants to impeach someone, it needs to muster a simple majority in support of articles of impeachment that can be presented to the Senate. How the House gets there is entirely up to the chamber itself to determine. There is no constitutional requirement that the House take two successful votes on impeachment, one to authorize some kind of inquiry and one to ratify whatever emerges from that inquiry. An impeachment inquiry is not “invalid” because there has been no vote to formally launch it, and any eventual impeachment would not be “invalid” because the process that led to it did not feature a floor vote authorizing a specific inquiry.”

This clearly says the HOUSE has sole power of Impeachment, NOT the Speaker and other Officers. None of this matters because they will never get the 2/3 vote needed for impeachment. This is just a political move to accuse Trump and try to get him to look bad. They are grasping at straws because they know he is going to win this election and there is not a lot they can do about that. But they are not going to go down without a fight.

Oh good grief....

this gets really embarrassing when a foreigner has to keep educating you on how your own Constitution works...!

There is no “2/3 vote” required for impeachment...it requires only a simple majority in the House...!

On the other hand, there must be 67 votes in the Senate to convict an impeached President and then remove him...

Oh boy..........

Then they are even more clueless about the constitution than anyone imagined.
How often is the supreme court vote 5 to 4? That is their job and what they do for a living and they do not seem to agree on all that much.

Gee, that wouldn’t have anything to do with political appointments...........would it?

That sounds like Poe's law. They say he is still around but I do not know what name he is using now a days.

No, it's different bc The Onion is consistently satire. With Poe's Law it's not consistent. A poster can write a post that is completely loony but yet was intended to be taken seriously. Then that same poster can write something as a joke.

Originally it was just about creationists but then got expanded on here then expanded all over. I'd heard of Poe's Law way way way b4 ever hearing about CF.

To be fair maybe he hasn't got as many lawyers now that his favourite is in prison? /s

About 20%. You just tend to hear about those cases a lot more because they’re usually ones with political aspects. Unanimous decisions happen 45% of the time.

Pat Robertson is 89 years old. He has been a christian for more then 40 years. If God was not with him he would have been gone a long time ago.

That's some bad theology right there. Hugh Hefner lived to be 91. Samuel Little is 79. Patrick Kearney is 80. There's nothing in the Bible about good people living longer than bad people.

Considering how everyone else who works closely with him eventually is either fired/resigns/gets indicted, how many lawyers would be willing to take up his case?

This has to do with showing respect for elders as compared to being rude and crude. Perhaps you could run a google search and do a bit of research on this subject. "“Stand up in the presence of the elderly, and show respect for the aged." (Leviticus 19:32) In the same way we should show respect for our president. Because he is the leader of our country. If we agree with all of his polices or not.

The law provides protection: "If the victim is elderly, in addition to the minimum mandatory sentence imposed by the statute, the statute also reclassifies battery from a misdemeanor to a felony, punishable by a term of prison of up to five years and a fine of up to $5,000."

Young and old, esp very young and very old people are to be given extra respect and consideration. Esp in the case of Hugh Hefner because he was just a playboy. But the fact that he lived to be 91 would tend to show that he did not abuse women they way you would expect from a player. So that would tend to show he had respect and consideration for them.

That, and a boatload have quit on him. It can be difficult to represent someone who has difficulty with the truth, facts, etc.

Please explain your logic.
I am just going by what the women say about him. For example Pamela Anderson & Kendra Wilkinson has a lot of respect for him and what he did to help them with their careers. Holly Madison complained about him but she still had some degree of respect for him. The women he works with have often been highly abused and are quick to complain about the men that abuse them. This does not usually wash out until women get to be 30 or 40.
