My question is why is that the place you're volunteering? Can't you usher, help with communion, clean up the trash, or lift something?! I'm not saying women can't do all those things- but I am saying men need to stay out of the nursery.
Some men actually really love children and would prefer helping with nursery or youth groups.
I hadn't thought of this before, but it's an interesting topic/discussion. The safest bet that is fair for all parties is to have two people in the nursery, then it shouldn't matter who changes the diapers anyway since there is always a witness around. Women can do a lot to a baby, too, but it seems the men are being singled out here.
It's actually kind of funny/ironic because society now tries to teach that it's as much the man's responsibility to take care of the children at home, help change diapers, equality and everything - but when it comes to the public, men are being barred from it.
