Jesus rejected “elite” status. Care to challenge this posit?

For the record, I’m not “in the flesh”. :)

As for the teaching that we will achieve sinless perfection... in the flesh... on this side of the matter... here and now... so to speak... it is unwise for a person to teach such things, let alone speak as if it were so. Honesty is a standard of God’s people.

All Love in Jesus Christ to you.

But those sins you were boasting about committing were all sins of the flesh. You were kidding?

Are you talking about the Pharisees? I'm not.

We are either sinners or sons and daughters of God. Sinners are slaves to sin. Sons and daughters of God do not sin because of the power residing in them from when they were literally born again and received new desires. John 8:32-36

We are forgiven sinners. We are not Sinless in that we claim our actual flesh is like His.

James 5:16 agrees
Good one. Let's take a look at that.

James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

If you (in a general way) keep sinning, you are still a sinner and not forgiven - yet.

You are not understanding flesh. It is our carnal natures/flesh that dies, and born again with a divine nature, so that we can be like Him now.

Right.
That would seem to indicate that we are still sinners, right? (maintenance)

A person that intentionally misreads Paul will agree. IMO. Romans 7 is implicit. 1 John 1:8-10 is implicit.

There’s many more verses that explain the mystery.

Christ Almighty even called Himself less than the Father to make this point.

If Jesus didn’t claim equality with the Father, though He had it... what makes doctrine think it should teach we should claim equality with Christ?

Also notice that the prayers of those sinners (each other) are the powerful and effective prayer of a righteous person.

Those are about people BEFORE Christ. But people that believe Jesus freed us from the law so we could sin without going to hell - sorry, don't let it be too late to read in context.

2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:2-4

Romans 8:9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

1 John 3:3-9
3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

The Scriptures I gave you speak for themselves. You didn't read them did you? Nope, your doctrine is more comforting to you while you love to sin.

They don’t say what you think they say, in proper Exegesis. IMO

That’s the merry-go-round of the matter.
