Daniel 11:15-16 said:So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.
But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
What we see in Daniel's vision of the end, is a lot of snapshots of the time of the end. I think a window into these snapshots and the meaning they convey can in our time, be considered in the light of whom God has called forth to face the end. This particular snapshot (quoted above) is a picture of the hacking of the US (glorious land) election, by Russian (King of the North) forces.
What it says is "when your governments computers are hacked, you have no strength to withstand (the hacking)". The subtext is, the kings of the end will work together because hacking leaves them no choice.
So for people who are brought forth to face the end, by God, what you have is weakness in government systems that then take the position of power, as though they ruled, when in fact what they are doing is giving up on rule: to put it bluntly "the rule of Jesus Christ, cannot be hacked". It's just that governments are too weak, to wait for Jesus and too slow to accept the leading of the Holy Spirit, at least at first.
So the rule which hacks, is consumed, simply because messing with people's files does not make you their leader, it makes you annoying.
I'd be glad to hear your thoughts - not so much about the consequences of the end, if that's alright, but the hope in Jesus' rule, sort of thing?
Thanks, anyway.
