You made the comment earlier that most religions are "foolproof" so it is kind of whatever you want to believe. Let me address this question as logically as possible. We know there is a ultimate creator. We can look at a building and, without seeing the builder, know that someone built it BUT how could we look at the universe and all the physical mysteries and not know that SOMEONE HAD to make it all?
Assuming that we understand that I would like to prove a point about all religions being okay as long as you believe it. There were 6 blind men all feeling of an elephant. One felt the tail and said it was a whip, another the tusk and proclaimed that it was a spear. After much research one, feeling the belly, proclaimed that it was a wall. Another grabbed a leg and said it was a tree. One blind man grabbed the trunk and concluded that it was a snake and the final, grabbing the ear, said it was a leaf.
Now a man with vision would have known it was an elephant! Sadly the blind men will eventually be trambled and all this as a result or false beliefs. So this leads us to the toughest explanation of all. Which one is right?
For just a moment close your eyes and picture what you want in life. Picture what you know would satisfy everything you need and everything you are. What created you and for what purpose. What kind of God would satisfy you? Only by satans lies would the answer to any of these questions be a god other then the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of you and I and the ultimate potter and creator of all you see.
Muhamed cursed the Jews and Christians, Budah is a rock, and the world (or satan) is only a creation not the creator. Oh yes, we can worship anything... this ability has been placed in us. Manasseh worshipped about everything! Yet there is only one solid connection and truth. There is only one source of power and it is not the stars, nor anything from the earth, neither is it anything hateful or wishful to see us suffer. I hope this helps. Search within yourself for the part of you made to be with this God. It cries out and even at this moment Jesus stands at the door of your heart knocking. Listen and open the door and take refuge in Him!
