  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not if it is to REMEMBER the LORD in His death when He comes..

I wouldn't expect a preterist to understand this.. as it's obvious that they do not remember the LORD in His death til He comes.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!!!!

What is communion?

What is baptism?

I'm talking about the fact that you have zero scriptural basis for the LORD coming again.. since you believe that He already came in 70AD..

Prove me wrong..

Parousia couldn't.. I asked him a simple question about his scriptual basis for the Day of the LORD..

Ziltch... nothing.. notta..

How about you?

If he isn't completely twisting the Bible to make it magically say what he wants, when faced with objective Bible doctrine that refutes his theories, he simply wont answer..

But then, that's common place around here..

Just gotta put the word out..

Ignore em all...

I am a partial preterist not a full preterist.

Killing animals for forgiveness of sin is a complete denial of Christ, His messiahship, His Lordship, His sacrifice, and His resurrection.

You sir are speaking like an Antichrist. Christ abolished the old covenant, He nailed it to His cross. First He fulfilled the Law in His earthly life and then became mankind's perfect atonement ONCE and FOR all (while He nailed the Law to His cross and abolished it).

LOL... yeah right.. and yet you can't post a scripture about the coming of Christ.

And obviously you infallible ones can't even hear anything but what comes from your own mouth.

Nobody said it was for the forgiveness of sins.. but then again, you can't understand anything but what your infallible leaders tell you..

That I can understand..

Wrong! Dead wrong!

It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. Behold I, Paul, say to you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you. And I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law. You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. ” (Galatians 5:1–4)

“But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion sought for a second. … When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.” (Hebrews 8:6-7,13)

“When He said, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.” (Hebrews 8:13)

You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. ” (Galatians 5:4)

So how about that scripture pertaining to the coming of Christ..

LOL... what a joke.

As mentioned, you have absolutely ZERO SCRIPTURAL BASIS for any make believe belief of yours that Christ is coming again.. go ahead, I'd love to be proven wrong here.

Because you're a full preterist who pretends to be a partial preterist to post here.

I can cite many many scripture on the return of Christ.

Do you truly believe God will restore the Old Testament law along with Temple sacrifices?

Because according to my beliefs it is a denial of the sacrifice of Christ’s blood once for all to end all animal sacrifices.

First of all, the LAW hasn't gone anwhere.. its every jot and tittle is in effect right now. Men are simply not justified by keeping the LAW.

Regardless... you obviously can't hear anything but what you want to hear so just go ahead and bask in your infallibilty.

Ask any preterist what their scriptural basis is for the coming of Christ and listen to the crickets..

They have no scriptural basis.. they just like to play make believe and pretend that they're more spiritual than everyone else.

People around here know I believe Christ return is everywhere throughout the New Testament. In fact I have stated more than once that my eschatology is built on many passages found between Matthew to Revelation.

But it seems to me you've failed to comprehend that the work of Jesus on the cross ended Temple sacrifices forever.

And those that choose to do otherwise could well be committing a blasphemy against God and His Son.

This is a huge misconception..

Futurists believe that the "Temple" is nothing more than a mistake on the Jews part.

Futurists might as any Christian touring Jerusalem to see the place where Christ walked might, visit said Temple, but its of no concern regarding salvation.

We know the Temple that the Jews are trying to build is not going to bring them closer to God, because Israel is blind to Christ, who is the Word.

Should clear up those accusations right there.. We are Christians, we don't need a temple, we are the temple..

Preterists need to chill out with that mess, We all agree on the Temple, but that isn't going to stop the Jews from building, and build they will, in due time..

Clear on that brother?

No Spirit of truth there, that's for sure.

So true..

You know when they dont reply?

When they get owned so hard by the Bible they run away..

I'm sure it won't be long until they cry their way to being the only people who can post in a Christian forum..

It's soon to be anything but the truth. :o

Nah.. Jesus has a louder voice than they do, to many of us with the clear truth in our hearts, Jesus didn't follow the rules either..

He is God manifest, and I will follow his example first..
