Ya know for pre-Tribbers ... the anti-Christ is supposed enter it 3.5 years after the Rapture...

Or for post-Tribbers, it must be standing during the Tribulation before the anti-Christ enters it, both events are required before the Rapture...

Logic would dictate it would be a deal breaker, but the real historical precedent that these folks have set, leads me to believe they would just change the rules, move the goalposts and wiggle their way out of their own temple requirements if the 3rd temple never materialized.

I fear so too.

They basically stand upon three verses more so than any other that is 1 Thess. 4:16, 5:9, and Rev. 3:10.

But how easily they overlook Rev. 2:11,26, 3:5,12,21 etc.

It is shot full of holes, there was an earlier version of Premillennialism called historic Premillennialism.

But Dispensationalism and its Rapture is strictly Darby's child and was Cyrus I Scofield's new gospel.

This overly complex eschatological system was borne in the 19th Century.

We are around the 6000 year mark since Creation..

The last thousand years are the millennial reign of Christ, this completes 7 days in heaven and 7000 years on earth.

Premils don't exactly follow a united front on the rapture timing.. It could literally be any time..

It is my personal belief that the rapture is what we will not know... Christ comes after the 7 years, this is a calculable date..
