I don't think a person like that would even make a good general practitioner, let alone a psychiatrist.
But you won't hesitate to give a prognosis, will you?The person has to want to be cured. Forcing a cure on someone can be worse than the disease. And you will not find a single practitioner that would force someone to be cured of a disease that is doing little physical harm to themselves or to others. Doctors are not thought police, and neither am I. If someone goes to an open forum I will try to help them, but I cannot and do not want to force a cure.
