  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I would have to agree. there are many words that atheists consider swear words, that I, as a Christian, don't. The F words isn't always a swear word - depends on the context

He was F'n around downtown with his friends - I would'nt say that's "cursing"

F you buddy!! - cursing

F you buddy (jokingly) - not swearing

see where I'm goin?

Anyway, before I go off on a tangent...

I talked to her the other day, and she was, again, real quiet. I didn't ask her to the prom, cuz the situation wasn't the best.

However here's what I'm plannin on doing: I'm gonna talk to her in person, tell her I'm falling in love with her, and ask her, while looking in her eyes.

I'm gonna dress nice, and wear cologne, and yes- take some "medicine"\

haha

does that sound "cool"???

well, I want to flatter her. She knows I like her. It just seems right to do that

What would be wrong with that? I guess I'll leave that out though,

but I don't know, considering she knows I like her, wouldn't that "turn her on"? not sexually, but romantically

Not it would not. Telling her your falling in love with her could actually scare her off. Don't move fast. Take it very slowly.

i know her... i don't think that would scare her off. However, I'll say "I really like you...." instead. If I can get a girl in a isolated area (nothing sexual) I think I could actually talk to her and say whats realy on my mind....

HEY ill ask her to lunch!!! YEAH!!!!
no, my car is a S.H.

alright... more happened since then

i havn't asked her yet, but here's why

I really can't figure out if she likes me, or hates me. it's one of the two. she's displayed SO many signs it's sick. she seems very ackward around me.

she's either:
1. nervous cause she likes me

or

2. Uncomfortable cuz she doesn't

now before i make my move, i have one question to ask. (considering the fact that i have a handle on the rest of the situation... this is all i need to know ot figure this whole mess out, this next question.)

the question: (for the ladies)

alright: would you ever stare at a guy you like at lunch ALL OF THE TIME, and pay attention to him ALL OF THE TIME, then look away when he looks at you.....

if you really weren't intersted at all? but thought he liked you?

Would you ever pay full attention to and become a totally different person (self concoiousness, nervousness, etc.) and constantly stare at him if you really hated him????

Agreed. If a guy I liked told me he loved me without building up to it and before I was ready, I'd be totally freaked out.

I would only stare at a guy like that if I liked him unless he was saying something that I just wanted to listen to, lol.
