What is that proof?

Where is the evidence that God tore those walls down?
The walls came down from an Earthquake. There is a sermon written by John Wesley that shows God is the cause of Earthquakes. But really what I had in mind was the work by Planck and Einstein and others. They base their science on God. So we need to look at some of their quotes and some of what they wrote in their books. The science you support and believe in would not exist if it were not for Christians. As Planck said: It is not by accident that the greatest thinkers were and are Christians. This maybe a good place to start: http://nobelist.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/50-nobelists.pdf

Because the Greek word for mind means with the entire center of your being. Mentally and physically.
Still they added a word and it is interesting that there is a difference between soul and mind. Jesus is the word so He can do that. We are not allowed to add anything to the Bible or take anything from the Word of God.

I thought we agreed that we are debating *when* it happened, not if?
No big bang or man evolving from animals could ever have happened. You agree?

Except of course that BB theory was first proposed by a Catholic Priest, and later noted by the Pope, so apparently it's negotiable with other sects of "Christianity". And of course you're still in the minority camp without an external cross reference to your name. :)
No. It is foolishness and diabolical lies from the very pit of hell.

FYI, I was in fact baptized in the Catholic Church. I was raised as a Lutheran, and I'm more of a universalist Christian at this point in my life.
Ok.

So universalist folks have a position on Jesus creating the world and man? Spit it out.
As it relates to topics of "science", unlike you, I do not have to hide from the light of empirical day.
And I do not call darkness light. So there.

I'm not stuck in a personal feedback loop, and I can fully embrace empirical physics, just like *most* Christians.
I can embrace present state laws also. So? The issue is whether we pretend they will apply always and always have. This is nonsense and totally unprovable.
What I honestly do not understand is why you need more than your faith in Christ as it relates to the Bible.

Part of what Christ is, happens to be the One who created it all. Personally. Just like Moses said, you know, the guy that vivited Jesus on the mount, and the guy Jesus said was to be believed?
John clearly explained that Jesus is the "living word" of God, not some lifeless book.

The words He spoke are also living! Scripture is alive.
You're elevating a lifeless book to near idol worship, and wrapping up a bunch of irrelevant pseudoscientific nonsense into your "requirements" to be a "good Christian".
Relax. Calm down, I simply try to believe it. Try it. You might like it.

All Christians love Christ, and trust him. Not all of them trust your literal interpretation of Genesis however.
Those who know Him know He really really really created it all. Others who a limited understanding of God and His word have either chosen to disbelieve it, or have never really looked into it.

Well, one of its warts consists of sterilizing the Scriptures.

And that wart needs to be removed.

Other warts are: antisemitism, antizionism, blasphemy and witchcraft.

Those warts need to be removed as well.

Science also has a nasty habit of changing key words into those used in witchcraft.

Such as saying "poofed," instead of "created;" and "magic," instead of "miracles."
Almost sounds like it's time to exorcise science!

Do you mean the scientific evidence that shows thalidomide is safe and effective?

The problem with thalidomide was not "science failed". The problem was that it was rushed out to the market without nearly enough research.

I guess the only one left to blame then is Truman.

Are you suggesting that someone needs to clean the temple of science out of all the money changers?

"And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."

lol @ people who think medicine = science.
In the USA medicine = commerce + science
The fact that scientific research has to be paid for and that scientific research can lead to immensely profitable discoveries does nothing to negate the scientific aspects of medicine.

Negate? No.
Corrupt? Yes.

Care to offer some examples?
Absolutely.
But I dont have time for all that right now.
I'd direct you to this excellent article from The Atlantic:
http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2010/11/lies-damned-lies-and-medical-science/308269/
Lies, Damned Lies, and Medical Science
Much of what medical researchers conclude in their studies is misleading, exaggerated, or flat-out wrong. So why are doctors—to a striking extent—still drawing upon misinformation in their everyday practice? Dr. John Ioannidis has spent his career challenging his peers by exposing their bad science.

There is no interpretation to Jesus creating man and the earth etc. None at all. In no way is it negotiable to insert evolution of man and the big bang into the creation spoken of by God and angels and prophets. rather than hide behind catholics, of whom I am one by birth, come out and talk of your universalism position..

Do you still think the Bible is your God?

I mean the evidence that humans share a common ancestor with other species, the evidence demonstrating that the Earth is billions of years old, and the evidence that there was not a recent global flood.

There was lots and lots of research before they rushed out atomic bombs to the market.

Hey, when the King returns, people can kiss so called science goodbye forever. Won't see Pauli no more.

Even the atomic clocks tick in ernest expectation of the change to come!
