I take she is adopted. Why not just teach her American values and customs unless she is going back to her own country?

that's not how it works

before we adopted, we had to do a paper on how we would keep her culture in her life

it's extremely important

everyday, she looks in the mirror & sees her birthparents looking back at her....not us

when I was in 6th grade, did a huge project on her country
it's the only thing kept from my elementary yrs & now can share with my 6th grader

America use to be a melting pot, now it's a division pot because of the left.

Modern America is more of a tossed salad. And most people agree that a tossed salad is better than lettuce, tomatoes, salad dressing, and croutons alone.

Scripture reflects this idea, as well.

Paul spoke of many members ... eyes, ears, feet, hands, etc ... making up one body.

And the body is not completely functional ... until ALL of the body parts respect one another ... and cooperate together.

People use to come to America and "melt", in the big migrations. Now they are encouraged to not love the country even hate it by the left. Same way with those that live here.

Very few are taught to hate America.

I don't know where you get those ideas. I live in a multicultural area and have a very multicultural life but it in no way interferes with my being a Christian. Some people are just bad and unloving and then become unhappy when they're called out on it. Multiculturalism is a very good thing.

Same way with mine. Everyone is at a certain economic level and has worked hard for their piece of the pie. But the left is totally against this paradigm.

I'm on the left and I'm not against working hard for a "piece of the pie". Where do you get those notions? When you look at America it's the right-wing, red states which siphon money away from liberal, blue states by redistributing wealth from my pocket to theirs. Perhaps you're pointing at the left when you should be pointing at the right.
