I have faith as the evidence. Can't beat that.

You are, I assume, aware that you are saying: 'I believe it, which proves it is true.'

Then you say you have abandoned reasoning as we earth people understand the term for something undefined that you call 'God's reasoning'.

Given that this reasoning seems too be 'faith is evidence', you'll excuse us earth people if we roll our eyes.

I have "abandoned" and absolutely reject your own method of "reasoning" and substitute it with God's own method of "reasoning".
Blind faith in Bronze-age mythology? Yeah, I'll stick with logic. It wasn't through burning carcasses so that the Lord might have a pleasing scent, that we eradicated smallpox...

Nor developed the nuclear bomb.

We didn´t develope the nuclear bomb. God did.

How I know? Well, first I have faith, and then... humans are obviously not smart enough to develope the nuclear bomb.

Blind faith in Bronze-age mythology?
It's interesting that the Old Testament people preferred brass to bronze.

You can call it "The Bronze Age", but as applies to God's people, it's just a semantic label --- like, "Homo sapiens".

They wouldn't touch bronze with a ten-foot Nehushtan.

They preferred brass to bronze? How on earth did you get that strange notion?

The only way you developed the atom bomb was by pwning yourselves.

Do you know what "atom" means?

Who's locked up? It's science that continues to shed new light on how we view the world around us.
And for you the "world around us" (the Matrix) is all there is, but they are others who are set free from the matrix by the ONE.
I'm sure I don't need to tell you the advances science has made, both theoretically and practically.
About the world around us, yes, but nothing more. If you think the world around us is all there is, then you are locked up behind "scientific bars" and can see no further.
So faith is evidence...
Yes
And faith is... proof?
Yes
So faith is evidence is proof.
Yes
Nice to see Christians are still twisting "language to suit their presuppositions.
The problem is with the "language" used to explain the reality of God. It's pathetically inadequate, but it's all we have at the moment.
A vacuous answer, followed by... ... a non-sensible one.
Again, it's the pathetic "language", not my fault.
Faith is proof?
Yes
To have faith in God is to prove he exists?
Yes
I think you need to spend some time with a dictionary.
Why should I do that when the bible definitions are correct? The dictionary definitions will only confuse me as it does you.

Knowing your rather unique approach to deriving ideas from statements in a, ehem, "Book", I would like to see a citation.
I challenge you to find the word "bronze" in the Bible --- (not a bible) --- the Bible.

So if it isn´t in there, how do you know that they disliked it?

Could that be not simply another of your too literal points, when the explanation is simply a difference in usage of terms today and then?

I am growing up. I am growing up in faith and the knowledge of the LORD.
start thinking for yourself.
If you think you are thinking for yourself, you are seriously mistaken.

O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. - Jer 10:23,.

We are all being directed. The question is, 'directed by who?'.
