Because He makes a good offer, we're made in His image, and still have a yearning for Him.
“Perhaps”Curiosity, perhaps. Also most people believe God exists in some form. It's part of God putting eternity in man's heart. The question we all have is " what is this God like?" The gospel answers all men's deepest questions.
I'm sure the answer is different for every person, but at least in this country, one of the main reasons people don't get saved, is because nobody invites them to church. According to a Gallup poll, 75% said they would go if someone invited them. So when we asked the question.. why do people not get saved, we might want to look in the mirror.“Perhaps”
That’s really convincing.![]()
I don’t think there’s a single verse in scripture that states where folks should invite others to church. But that’s beside the point.I'm sure the answer is different for every person, but at least in this country, one of the main reasons people don't get saved, is because nobody invites them to church. Not.The bottom line is that you hold to an idea of salvation that’s nowhere to be found in the Bible. When you have to say “perhaps”, that just makes it all the more clear.

I know the dictionary definition, but I don't know what this means in a soteriological context. What precisely are you doing that adds to your salvation?
Well we have to believe and continue to believe, we have to abide in Christ, we have to love God and others, basically we have to adhere to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. No one will do this perfectly of course, but they must make an effort to do so.

You’ll have to ask the judge.
Because God does not force anyone to cooperate which is why He desires all men to repent and be saved but not all men will.
So, you are uncertain as to your salvation?
