Does God know when people are going to die ?

In August 2015 i dreamed of seeing a photo of a woman with the word RIP above it, the strange thing was that God showed it for quite a long time in my dream and i was trying to recognize who was that but i could not.

When i woke up i was trying to remember who was that person, still i could not recognize and i thought could God told me i was about to die ?

Day by day passing by and i was kind of worry deep inside my heart, the dream was long and strange.

Until the month of October, my wife told me that her friend (which i also knew well) has passed away of cancer.

So we went to the hospital where she was laid, i somehow recall the dream but i never expected it was her.

Until when i approached her coffin and looked at her big photo, her face was the one appeared in my dream in August, she has changed a lot, her face became much fatter and her long hair was cut very short, yet i still recognize her. Lord oh Lord and God reminded me at that time of the dream God gave me.

There are 8 billions people in the world, God knows when they live and when they will die...... before the creation of this world.
Eph 1:4 Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

There are billions even trillions of stars in the sky, He named them all.
Psalm 147:4 He counts the number of the stars and he calls all of them by names

Even birds which fall to the ground doesnt escape the Eye of our Father in heaven.

Matt 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care.

God knows the sufferings of His people who boldly died to defend the truth of Jesus Salvation with their lives.


God knows and God sees who is the Rich and what they do to the poor.


We shall all be taken to watch The Judment of the Great White Throne in the Last Day. Either we are convicted or the watcher who inherit the kingdom.

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God....

Oh For a thousand tongues to sing.

January 2017 I started to suspect I was dying due to hearing a verse from John 14 repeatedly. In February, I fell in love with a couple of things from Revelation and had such a realisation how great it would be to be praising in Heaven. My brother got saved that month. Fast forward to April. The 2nd he got baptised. He died on the 4th.

Praise be to the King of kings for preparing me so well that when he passed I could rejoice that my brother was in Heaven with the Lord. Praise God that I got to know my brother's conversion was real and Thank Him for bringing him to Him before calling him home.

Was spared so much heartache by the Lord's preparation prior to the loss.

Also, I didn't realise until reading old messages I actually dreamed my brother died in October 2016. I told him about it. It unsettled him but I forgot until a month or two after his death. I am glad that the Lord enabled me to unwittingly warn my brother. Maybe that had somwthing to do with my brother secretly attending a church from December.

I think God knows everything, so I think he would know your future, or at least the unchangeable aspects of it

I could talk about a couple of spiritual experiences, but since they're private revelation I'll leave them out of it for the moment.

However I had a pastor who was prophetic, in the sense that if said he thought something would happen, sooner or later it did. Amongst other things he said to me once, privately in his office, "I think your sister might not live very long. I think she'll get leukemia".

When he said that it would have been around 1990 or 1991, as he died himself of cancer in January 1992.

Sure enough my sister died of leukemia at age 45 in 2005. Now the pastor didn't make any effort to pin down the date, but there was no reason for him to mention leukemia. For one thing he hardly knew my sister, and she'd had no health scares at the time he was speaking. The only way he could have made that prediction was because God was telling him viz. God knew that my sister "wouldn't live long" due to "leukemia".

And He told the pastor. That's where his prophetic ability came from - it wasn't some natural gift of his own.

For the record we were talking about the Middle East shortly after the first Gulf War. The pastor commented, "I think there'll be a second Gulf War. The Americans will have had enough of Saddam Hussein and they'll get rid of him. But I think they'll lose a few men the next time." The way he said "few" it was obvious that he meant more than a few (as it turned out around 4500 service men and women). No prizes as to whether he was accurate or not - on all 3 counts as it turned out.

There were a number of other predictions as well, and by and large they've happened, with a few still waiting in the wings, although some of them were rather grim.

God knows the dates all right. He just doesn't tell us, for good reason. If He said to me that on the 23rd of July 2018, I'd die by drowning, on the 22nd of July I'd load up with as much fluid I could stand, and then just sit up all day in the lounge room with the doors and windows shut.

He didn't tell the pastor the precise dates either, but He gave him enough of an insight to know that various things were going to happen.

Maybe I could take out a couple of million dollars life insurance while I'm at it, and give that away as well.

The real point I was making was that while God knows the date of our deaths, He doesn't tell us for a reason. I suppose there are some exceptions - the prisoner on death row with no appeal, or an astronaut on a runaway orbital satellite due to re-enter at such and such a time.

But they're very much the exception.

Hi; well, we never know until perhaps in hindsight the significance of events; the Lord knows.

I believe God knows when somebody is going to die because the bible says nothing is hidden before him. You can read Psalm 139: 12
