There's no benefit talking with Atheists beyond reaching a quick stalemate. What happens according to Christianity to the following:

A - Those who have heard the gospel, but reject it. Including Atheists and theists of other faiths.
B - Those who accept there might be a Creator, but choose not follow citing the issues in the Bible's message.

Would be interesting to know.

There was the religion of Jesus that he lived, preached and taught long before the cross. Then there is the modified gospel that rapidly developed after the cross which lead to a religion about Jesus. Christianity is largely a religion about Jesus.

Faith in God and the responsibility that comes with it is the only requirement for salvation. Those who are completely disloyal will be destroyed.

What happens according to Christianity to the following:

Eternal torture in the lake of fire.

And that not only applies to those; it applies to many who claim to be christians as well:

Matt 7.22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
