We up top the mountain are not too concerned regarding the climate because, we believe it is all in God's hands.

Tremendous hailstorm, and continuous thunder and lightning against all Egypt—struck down all unprotected people, animals, trees and plants—except in the region of Goshen where there was no hail (Exodus 9:23-29 NASB)
Great hailstones on the Amorite army—killing numerous soldiers (Joshua 10:11)
Tornadoes, hurricanes and drought
“The Lord takes vengeance on His adversaries,
And He reserves wrath for His enemies.

Yes. He DOES. It is written that the weather and all that is involved in the weather was created by our Creator, and the weather (the created) recognize WHO created it. Just as when Jesus said to the sea and the storm "Be still", and it did, it is still so today. Our Creator: He changeth not. And neither does WHO has the final say regarding the weather, elements, etc. And that would be our Creator.

He controls the weather in the sense that nothing that happens e.g. a storm would happen without him being fine about it. I'm also certain that there have been times over the centuries since Christ's departure that God has used weather for his own means. In respect to actually controlling the weather in the same way that a child might control a toy car with a remote, I think we can safely say that such a thing isn't true.

Creating something does not equal controlling something.

Why don't Christian conservatives worry about climate change? God.
A key bloc of Trump's supporters think solving the problem is out of human hands.

The United States will withdraw from the Paris agreement on climate change, President Trump announced Thursday. Environmental scientists say the consequences could be catastrophic for the planet. But for some Trump supporters, there’s no reason to worry.
“As a Christian, I believe that there is a creator in God who is much bigger than us,” Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.) told constituents last week at a town hall in Coldwater, Mich. “And I’m confident that, if there’s a real problem, he can take care of it.”
Among conservative evangelicals, that is not an unusual opinion. Nearly all evangelicals — 88 percent, according to the Pew Research Center on Religion & Public Life — believe in miracles, suggesting a faith in a proactive God. And only 28 percent of evangelicals believe human activity is causing climate change. Confidence that God will intervene to prevent people from destroying the world is one of the strongest barriers to gaining conservative evangelical support for environmental pacts like the Paris agreement.

This Earth will end exactly when God wants it to. And He will control the weather until then and after then.

Does God control the weather. Yes but also No. God originally set things in motion and it's not that he doesn't ever involve himself with it but most times I'd say it works somewhat like on cruise control. Seasons change for the reason of how God set forth the Earth's axis tilt and shift. I think there's good evidence that something catastrophic happened to effect environment after the time of Noah and man's life span likewise was shortened but even now it seeks to act on cruise control with variation of things taking place which go along with the natural changes of the earth. God can however inject some change....if people are praying for rain, as farmers might do God might intervene.

I'm not sure about nowadays..
Geo engineering is a real thing.
That's people messing around with weather and climate.
Chem trails are the most visible kind of geo engineering efforts.
Keep in mind that they want to convince us of CO2 causing global warming.

God "allowing" for messin' with the weather, etc. doesn't mean that He doesn't "control" it, does it?

He has the final say, the "last word", doesn't He?

Man is finite, and just with the tower of Babylon, He will allow man to go only so far.

He may also "allow" man to make a "mess of things".

All the more reason to pray, my friend.

God help us.

Ok, i'm curious....can you elaborate, my friend?
Well, someone can create a car and sell it, but it's the buyer who controls it.
God made man and put man in control of himself.
God created living nature, but man or other causes can make species go extinct.
God created man and that brought forth mankind, and then they built the tower of Babel and God divided the people and put them under jurisdiction of the gods (sons of God) Deuteronomy 23:8 and Psalms 82 (divine council).
God lets his creatures mess up if they choose to.
Created but not (fully) controlled.

Who has the last word?

Yes, God's creatures, are messed up. Have been since the fall, and thus die in all their finite-ness because of the curse that was ushered in with sin.

Yet, God had the last word even then.

Didn't He?

Of course.
We're all waiting for Him to do justice and redeem.
Well, i am..

Does god control the weather?

He has planned and executes the life and shape of each cloud.
