Does believing Genesis is wrong make me a bad Christian?

. So you’ve got someone with the acromegaly and you think this is normal bone growth and out of date racial information. Perhaps you’re unaware that we’re got over 400 fossils of Lucy’s species alone including several skulls . Forensic reconstruction can give an approximate idea of what protohumans looked like . And they looked more like chimps for a long time. Protohumans walked upright and the insertion of the spinal column is from underneath the skull. Chimps and gorillas have the insertion closer to the back of the skull but not completely at the back . And quadrupeds have the insertion at the back of the skull. If you have a dog you can see this . . In fossils you can see that insertion point becoming more human like as upright walking evolved . You can see that in the bones of the legs, knees and pelvis and even a toe bone can tell you whether they were habitual tree climbers or runners like we are .

FYI Just a ribcage with scapula can tell someone skilled in anatomy whether the vertebrate walked on all 4s or not .

He looks like an ape ... because that's what he is.
of course he’s an ape , so are we! Humans and protohumans are great apes just like chimps bonobos orangutans and gorillas . That’s why we’re all in family Hominidae

If you want to see what other fossil protohumans look like google this site and of course as usual this is a photo . This is a professional (Viktor Deak ) at fossil reconstruction . You can click on the pictures at the site to see them enlarged

Well you have to address the actual fossil succession. Saying that some people have deformed heads doesn't change the sequence observed in the fossil record.

Contradictory Genesis and Communion beliefs can be a double standard but obviously does not affect the person's ability to believe Jesus gave up his body and blood for our salvation.

I believe because Jesus ascended to "the right hand of God" in heaven 40 days after the Resurrection it is impossible for "This is my body" and "This is my blood" to be literal. Also, the cracker and wine go out of your body into a toilet, certainly not where you want your God to be. How are they botanically different in any way from all other crackers and wine? But as you pointed out, disagreeing with me on what the bread and wine are does not have to depend on you belief in evolution.

so are you .... I am human ... created in the image of God ... and God is no Ape.
. How would you know? You’ve never seen Him

and all humans in genus Homo are apes . If you’re not an ape, can I ask which planet are you from then ?

When did the ape give birth to man? Dead fossils don't have successions. You don't have any idea it had kids and you don't have any idea what it's family truly was. All you know is that it DIED. Similarities in design between kinds doesn't mean they came from each other.

So are you. I am human, created in the image of God, and God is no ape.

Humans are biologically apes.

Being made in the image of God has nothing to do with where homo sapiens is on taxonomic charts. As a human, you are just that - human.

. You’d first have prove it was designed . Our DNA PROVES the family lineage with chimps and other apes . Where have you been over the last 30 years . Biologists don’t use fossils to determine a family lineage they use DNA . So 19th century

fossils are used to clarify ancestry branches not to determine relatedness

So if humans are biologically apes why don't we look like them completely?

Yes and they are vastly different in the DNA. Fossils are used to make an imaginary branches of ancestry. Again it doesn't say where the branches goes. It just shows which category of animal it is. People have made lines because of certain similarities. Pure FICTIONAL.

Our person has nothing to do with apes!, we have a soul and spirit, animals have another belonging to animals, if you don't believe we have this immortal soul and spirit, you are doing christianity wrong, since our hope is that our immortal soul with be united with a new body in the afterlife.

If you believe we are only a mortal body/mind like that one of an ape, christianity is useless.

for the exact reason I don’t look like your clone either . We have different ancestors but we both belong to the same species. In the case of chimp and bonobos we split from their direct lineage 7 million years ago and we’re just distant cousins ( I don’t look like my human cousins either)

The body and soul are not the same thing. It is possible to have a body with no soul. So I will never see a reason to believe just having a soul makes humans not evolved from other apes.

You look a lot more like your cousin than apes. Seriously. The DNA is vastly different

It's a fabricated story. That's the problem. Pure fiction which is then called science. Whatever title you put on it doesn't mean it's true.

How do you know this for a fact?

Paleontologists said Lucy is the oldest animal ever found who could be the one that linked chimpanzees to the earliest humans. They never officially declared her body is it and stopped looking for an older one.

. Mainly Different rates of bone growth. We’ve got longer legs, a larger, thinner skull , a flatter face and a more upright posture Even though we share 99% genetic similarities. The flatter face is cause by humans retaining more juvenile ape facial features . Our larger skull is caused by humans not having large thick jaw muscles . If you chew you can feel where you jaw muscles attach to the side of your skull . A non human ape’s jaw muscles attach on top of the skull . This is especially noticeable in gorillas that actually have a Sagittal crest ( ridge of bone crossing the skull) to hold those big muscles. Btw they did find the genetic mutation to the jaw muscles that made them smaller and weaker in humans

All you need is a pen, papers, some images of dead bones that have similar parts, paste them on the paper and then make some lines between them. Not very hard. no one has ever seen any of these dead bones produce anything else but it's OWN KIND with minor differences/defects which usually dies off.

Show me a beneficial mutation that doesn't cause a negative outcome as well. Only a pure beneficial mutation.
