I think the key thing is recognizing the difference between plain old nasty breath and a demonic manifestation is simply being sensitive for it to be revealed by the Spirit.

If we are uncertain, wait and meditate until it is revealed.

We shouldn't make something of nothing, and we shouldn't quickly dismiss it when it IS something.

I suppose its possible that this idea comes from someone's experience of a demonized person that emitted foul odors. But saying bad breath is a spirit, and that anyone that has it is just plain foolish and silly, imo.

You can cure certain types bad breath with certain alcohol-free mouthwashes that contain other antisceptics. I really doubt these mouthwashes can cast out demons. They can get rid of certain types of bad breath.

If you use a different definition of spirit, you might say that vodka is a 'spirit' that is known for not causing bad breath, but certain other spirits do.

i did hear though that the demon of bad breath has a counterpart who works with him called the demon of crusty feet - you don't cast it out, you scratch it off.

Back to the question, no I dont think bad breath indicates a demon. Much of this demonology has been invited by charismatics looking for something to do! Seeing a demon behind every bush and identifying ways to identify and cast out these imaginary demons!

To quote a biblical example:

Mark 5:3
This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him any more, not even with a chain.

Not bad breath, this man was so demented he lived in the tombs. He was so powerful he couldnt be restrained at all. Thats a real spirit.
