ok...so this is sort of on topic, sort of off topic...but bear with me. I also have heard that sometimes people vomit when a demon is cast out of them...why is that? There's a story in one of the books about Smith Wigglesworth (one of my heros :D) when he cast demons out of a woman...she had twelve in her, and after each one left her she vomited right after and said their name. I do believe this happened, but i don't understand why she would vomit?
You know, I don't know why either.

I haven't had any teaching on this ..... yet ..... - smile

:D

I knew a dog that got delivered too often...

...and sometimes apparently the unclean thing went and got 7 others more vile than himself...

Well it's apparent that none of the poster have ever been involved in the healing and deliverance ministry.

Well, like all things that we expel from our stomach, we vomit it out.

Demonic manifestations can be expressed in many ways, such as:

Feeling cold, trembling, shaking, fall to the ground, palpitations, physical pain, lumps in throat, deep breathing, stirring in the stomach, feeling ill and faint, sudden headaches, unnatural movements of arms and legs, contortions, screaming, eyes rolling back into the eye sockets, sudden violent actions, hissing, burping, swearing, snarling and barking, roaring, bellowing, pungent smells, claw-like actions, and slithering across the floor like a snake.

There are some of those symptoms, which most members of the healing and deliverance ministry witness on many occasions.

Mockery is the lowest form of wit.

Be blessed in Jesus' Name.

Hi, I don't claim to know anything about demonics other than seeing satan move in the context of my own life's experience. I do believe there is such a thing as giving satan too much credit and thereby increasing his power over the innocent. Any form of paranormal observation is a study of demon activity, something I choose to stay away from.

Burping.
Vomiting
Farting
Yawning
Bad Breath
Heavy Sighs
Coughing

Can all be signs of demonic departure in deliverance ministry.

As far as every day.....there are lots of digestive and disease related occurances.....and sometimes people just need to go brush their stanky teeth.

This has to be the most hilarious thread that I have ever read on CF. Have seen some demonic deliverances personally myself and participated in one, I know that what often happens is the demonic spirit, as you pray, gathers in the body to a place to where it can exit the body and in the human body that is only two places for the most part. A lot of the time the spirit will go to the stomach thus leading to the person being delivered beginning to feel nauseous and ill. Often the person may want to discontinue the session because of the way they feel. Once the spirit is gone the person will be fine. Sometimes, if the person needs to repent of a certain sin or they speak words like "In the name of Jesus" the spirit cannot leave so if the person quiets down and then forgives or repents of whatever the sin is then the spirit will quietly go and there is no more trouble. This is what I observed when praying for a person who had been involved with sexual sin and had terrible issues of unforgiveness towards her mother. Once she repented and forgave her mother the demon no longer had right to be there and so it left. When I pray for people, I bind demonic forces from manifesting crazy stuff, or speaking through the vessel (person) because I learned that I had authority over them and that I could control what they did. So I do not tolerate their shenanigans---and a lot of that stuff is just that.

You always in deliverance ministry want to question the person to find out how the person came upon this condition. Then after the deliverance is complete that is just the beginning because the person may need frther counseling to help them stay free of the sin or whatever that brought them to that place. Demonic forces do not just jump on people they have to be invited by activity that the host (person) engages in.

Well actually I have.

But sorry I forgot that Jesus doesn't want us to laugh at all.

I will now repent of laughter in all its forms and stay serious.

Be seriously blessed :D

Well my dear brother, are you really telling me that you are in the healing and deliverance ministry?

And if you are, then you know exactly what I am saying.

And if you want to make the healing and deliverance ministry a joke, then always remember what Matthew 12:36 says, and I can assure you that it isn't any laughing matter, because "for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned".

I am sorry that you feel that you must repent of laughter, because once again mockery is the lowest form of wit.

We all laugh, at humour, but making mockery of deliverance, which is a ministry that is lead by the Holy Spirit, isn't a laughing matter.

Be blessed in Jesus' Name.

I have been involved in this in the past - a number of years ago.

I wasn't mocking at all - sorry if you thought that I was.

Have a great day

Once I asked a spirit it's name. It had to tell me 3 times because I didn't understand what it was saying.
My wife finally said he's telling you his name is --- .
My response was, "Well that's a stupid name."
It was VERY mad at me for saying that. LOL
This was about 18 years ago. I've learned a lot since then.
Deliverance isn't a laughing matter, but I always laugh when I tell the story.

Several people in this thread have. And they still laugh at dog breath jokes.

Spirits have been known to evoke smells, and temperatures, and other sensations. But if you suspect real demonic activity, then just act on it and get it over with.

Back to bad breath, people mentioned that there are several causes. Sometimes the bacteria is impacted between teeth, or in a cavity that hasn't been treated.

Smells can also come from the digestive tract. If there is undigested food, toxins can also be released that will make the person out of sorts. Get them on some fiber, or some cleansing herbs. Bring them a fruit basket, with prunes included.

People can also smell if they eat too much garlic -- the excess comes out their skin pores. Pass an alcoholic on the street and you will smell what their body hasn't passed on well enough. I have heard that Asian people can smell the butter in westerners' diets just by standing near them. And then there's coffee breath, etc. And diabetic ketosis.

Smells have many sources.
