I think the show is decent and my favorite character is Raven. She often provides a little bit or realistic if not dry element to the group. I've not seen it recently though.

I was just wondering if anybody likes the show on cartoon network called teen titans i think that show is sooooo hilarious. if you do like teen titans tell me and tell me what your fav character is. for me, my fav character is beast boy, he is sooooo funny.

I love Teen Titans and it is a good show, but why is it in the anime section? It's not Japanese animation, it's not >.> It's modeled after american-styled cartoonage...AND not styled as anime *sigh*

i would say that Teen Titans borders on Amer-ime. Starfire is clearly an anime based character. the series is good. I'm 20, i watch cartoons, and i find it entertaining.

i think teen titans was a comic first. in fact i think my friend has a few cases of the old comics that his dad collected. He said taht in the comic starfire had reeeeeeeeeeeeally long hair nad cyborg looked a lot different.

Teen Titans is a great show. (I think we've determined by now that it is not anime, lets not flame about it - it does however seem to fit far better in the anime forum as opposed to the "small screen" forum since most people that like Teen Titans will be here rather than reading about TV specials and reality shows, bleh!)

One thing I've noticed is that a lot of guys seem to like Raven the best, which has got me thinking. Have we reached a point where 'Goth' is cool and perhaps even normal? As I stare at my recently purchased album from Evanescence, I am inclined to say yes. But what about Starfire? I really don't think she represents the previously cool teen-bopper/cheerleader/pop-star type that she first appears to be. After watching the show for five episodes or so, it seems to me that Starfire is just as much an outcast (in analogy to 'Goth') as Raven, simply with completely different circumstances.

The main differences I see:
Raven is disenchanted while Starfire is blissfully naive
Raven is sarcastic where Starfire is (overly) sentimental
Raven befriends the darkness while Starfire embraced light
Raven exalts control where Starfire holds nothing back

Similarities:
Both seem to have a crush on Robin (?!?)
Both seem to have some difficulty at parties (introverted?)

The one major difference is that Raven seems slightly more adjusted than Star.
I think this is due to the whole alien thing. So, therefore, is 'Alien' going to be the next Goth? Sci-Fi/Anime junkies can only hope (joking! )

Maybe it's just me, but I like Starfire better. Goth is cool and all, but its not my style. I prefer the naive, maladjusted, sentimental, bright archtype more.

Am I alone?

yup that would be me. lol. the comic had more characters such as: kid flash, aqua lad, wonder girl, and some deaf and mute dude whose name i forget.

the comic had pretty lame animation because cyborg looked like a 60's robot and yes starfire had extremely long hair, i mean you could get lost in it.

i didn't get to read much of it because we gave all the comics to my uncle so he could sell them on ebay. it was pretty lame though.

I like Teen Titans (I love Robin) I think that the show has more a magna stint in it than anime.... although that is just my opinon....
