Do any of you ever feel persecuted? People saying that you don't believe right and trying to disprove it or making fun of you? I feel that so strongly right now and I can't stop crying because I need local Pentecostal friends...like in my town....and I don't have that...and I won't change my beliefs.

Don't worry about the persecution, for you are about the Lord's business. When you begin to hear that voice that is telling you that you believe wrong, then tell that devil to go to hell, and put it in God's hands, because you ain't got time to put up with this crap! Amen?

You will be hated for what you believe in, but hold strong. Always remember, greater is he that is in you then he that is in the world.


Just remember Matthew 28:20 "and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world"

Sadly I don't feel that i am being persicuted, but I know that is becasue I am not doing enough for the Lord, but there will come a time when I along with all of you will be seriously persicuted (I hope)

Just because your not persecuted doesn't mean your not doing enough for the Lord. I sound old saying this (for I am just know going into the ninth grade), but when I was in the 8th grade, thats when I really got serious about Jesus. I got baptized in the Holy Spirit, and started evangelizing all over the place. I carried my bible around school, talked about Jesus, even laid hands on a couple of people and prayed for them. I never really felt that I was being persecuted, all I knew was that I was being used of the Lord, and I loved it!

I would ddefinately say I have beeen persectued and at one time it made me change how I act from church to school....but not I dont care and I will be persecuted for my beliefs but no one and nothing will stop me now. Because I know to much about Jesus.

I feel that way sometimes. My parents sometimes make fun of me for my beliefs and it hurts. This struggle means that you are growing and getting closer to God. I am so glad to see that the young people are turning to God...It give me a good feeling in my chest when I see them posting...then i read the post where this one on here, their parents make fun of them...that is so sad..persecution is everywhere, even in the churches...because i did not speak in tongues, i was told i had a different spirit..not the holy spirit...this bothered be for quite awhile...almost distroyed my faith...

There are several very good churches in my city, and I have a good group of friends, not to mention my wife. So I guess not. But when I tell most people I am a pentacostal they don't even know what the difference is only that it is not Catholic or Lutheren. Gives me a good chance to talk to them about my beliefs.

I know how that goes, I was preaty much out of my family for like a year when I stopped going to a Catholic church. I just keep praying for them and keeping hope and things are going better.

All i can say ..is ..BLESS YOU..I know this is hard for you i can only imagine BE ENCOURAGED you could be the beginning KEEP ASKING FOR STRENGTH, PRAY for the ones against you..when u keep standing for God..you are SHOWING THEM THE TRUTH. And know this I AM GOING TO PRAY FOR YOU.Remeber the biggest persecutor in the New Testement...even he got renewed. angels im sure are watching over you and protecting you trust that ok. Im not pentecostal but i love the penteconstal droctrine and thank the Lord im Spirit Filled, dont worry my friend, if you wanna see that your belives are good chek the bible you will see that pentecostal doctrine is pure and right.The Holy fire of God be with you always my friend, dont worry. These experiences will cause you to grow and will strengthen your beliefs. I'm sorry it's painful. Everyone needs to remain teachable yet remain planted in what The Word says. Many people will be nasty including Christians. Personally, I had to get pass - This isn't something that's based on how many people agree with me. One place you can find support is on this forum because many of us have been through this ourselves. The Word is our strength - big time!
