I love our public library. When we go there, we are there for hours and end up bringing tons of books home. The problem is giving the books back, which we do every time. But the special books, I end up buying my own copy. I love books...

I love going to the Library even if I'm not looking for something in particular. I just love looking around and seeing what good books I can find.

I do the same thing. It is better than any kind of shopping.

The Lorain Public Libray,Lorain,Ohio is AWESOME! Especially considering we are only a city of about 75,000,we have a HUGE inter-library loan system. The Cleve-Net system, can even get materials from Cleveland, and all over.I have been a dedicated customer since '68. Sometimes I use the catalog, especially online at home, and sometimes I just go to sections in the library and "browse" for something that catches my eye,but I ALWAYS read the intros, on the cover,if it has one.

For some weird reason I never have stepped foot in my local library or a library since I was in high school. I enjoy buying my books and reading them. Then passing them out to others to read if there really good. I have no clue why I dont go to the library. Maybe its because I enjoy building my own personal collection.

Not only do I use my public library, but I work there during the summer and breaks! I also enjoy buying my own books though and passing them along as others have said. The library can be a good place to get introduced to new authors and find authors you enjoy.

yes, I"m a full fleged nerd. I love the libary. I have since I was little. Going to the library as a child was like going to the amusement park would be for others. I check out about 10 books at a time and read them all. If I read a book that I find absolutely amazing, I go and buy it. Yes I use the library quite frequently. In fact, some might say it is too frequent. Because I am in there at least two times a week. And that is on the low end of the spectrum. But one thing about the library that I love is the bi-annual sale. They sale donated and unused books at a dirt cheap price. That is something I truly enjoy.

I do not use my current library. Mostly that is because I live in a very small town and my public library is basically a Christian bookstore, and not even a big one at that. :) I live about 45 minutes away from the Fort Worth library, but unfortunately don't have the proper address to be able to use it.... I long to live closer to town so I can go to the library.

So yeah, I patronize my library quite a bit. How about you?

I do visit my library, and I have paid so many over-due fines that I am sick and tired of them. They really should put a limit on how much they can fine a faithful patron of 20+ years!
