Apparently scientists have created a new enzyme that literally eats away plastics. And they have engineered it even more to eat plastics even faster. My question is: If this new thing can eat away plastics what else can it destroy.I remember watching a Penn And Teller episode where they exposed recycle.. a lot of recycling is apparently pointless.. because the process of recycling is about as wasteful as the products they reuse.

Yep same here. People freak out if you accidentally throw a bottle away lolOver here it's $0.10 for any beverage container under one liter and $0.25 for over one liter. There are people in my town who make a living off of collecting bottles. Spring tends to be especially fruitful with all the snow melting.
