I did not start this thread for anyone to discount what others said.
Or for others to get their feeling hurts.
I am very sorry that is what happened here.

I am probably the most obese person on this forum and I was NOT offended by people saying they do not like fat girls.
That is a fact of life. Get over it.
We are all different, we all have our preferences.

I have great guy friends who were able to see me for who I am inside.
And these are my true friends.
I have been engaged and I was the one who called it if because the man was not Godly enough for me.

God made us different for a reason.
Would it not be boring if we all looked alike and thought alike.

I take it you're thin so you wouldn't understand. If you read any post from any male on here you see words like 'athletic', 'petite', 'fit'....blah, blah blah. Even a profession to love the Lord and seek out His will doesn't take away the shallow attitudes and unrealistic ideals that we in the western world are brainwashed with from practically the time we're conceived. Fat women are equal to trailer trash and considered dumb, ugly and lazy. I can't deny the ugly part but I think I'm somewhat intelligent and I work 3 jobs so I'm hardly lazy. We shouldn't settle for second best but the way things are going, Darwin's ideas will come true....'survival of the fittest.' Those who aren't FIT will just be left alone to rot.

This isn't meant to be an attack on you personally....just a general rant.

Lets look at this...
To be fit you need to plan what you eat, if you plan, you time manage your grocery shoping, it means you probally can cook basic things, and you excercise regularly. To excercise regularly you need to plan again, fit your workouts in around your other activities, you probally enjoy working out more then sitting around. Not sitting around means you're not lazy. Not being lazy means you don't have tons of free time to sit and mope around the house, watching TV and eating bad things for you. To be fit means you care about your appearance and have the discipline to keep it in a respectable manner.

There are thin, healthy people that are in EXACTLY the same situation as yourself. Yet they put in the extra time to take better care of themselves. So you really should check your attitude when you get angry at people that work harder then you. There is always someone out there that does it better, hold yourself to thier standard instead of getting bitter that you don't look like them.

So yes, I like fit AND petite girls. I like girls that have their act together and can plan, cook, time manage and are disciplined enough to get to the gym and be healthy. I don't expect anything else from them that I don't expect from myself.

Not sitting around means you're not lazy. Not being lazy means you don't have tons of free time to sit and mope around the house, watching TV and eating bad things for you.

I take it you didn't read the whole thread. She works 3 jobs so she's not sitting around the house, moping and eating. The 3 jobs kind of make it difficult to plan a consistent workout schedule. That's my take on the situation anyway.

caitlincares has asked for the thread to be closed and I am going to oblige her. Folks, opinions and preferences are like noses, everybody has them. If you don't agree with someone's opinions or preferences, that's ok. They are not yours and you don't have to answer to/for them. This thread asked for preferences. Not everyone was going to agree. There is no need to get bent out of shape. I'm not mad because not one of the men on here said they preferred short girls with freckles and glasses. Because let me tell you, they sure don't know what they are missing!

Please, let's remember that we are brothers and sisters in Christ and treat each other as such, disagreeing opinions and all.
