Do you have a type?

Is there a certain type of guy/gal you are attracted to?
Other than being a Christian.

Myself on the physical side I have been interested in more blondes.
But also a brunnette and a Southern Baptist Doctor of Divinity Nigerian gentleman.

On the temperment side I have been interested in the whole range from very reflective introvert to the sometimes obnoxious extrovert.

And age range? I have dated up to a gent 11 1/2 years older than myself.

I'm definitely attracted to a good sense of humor, but have no personal physical preference. I guess, taller than me (5'7")? I'm also attracted to smart guys, cuz I like to talk about deep stuff.

SENSE OF HUMOUR is the next best thing to Godliness in my book. As for physical appearance...hmmmm.....I tend to like dark hair and blue eyes, sometimes brown eyes. However, blonde-haired, blue-eyed Markus Naslund (hockey player) is absolutely dreamy! lol!!

Hmmm... it's hard to say if I have a real type when it comes to physical appearence, except the hair, medium brown or darker or auburn. Prefer at least my height or taller.... other than that, I've dated a range of varying builds. As I've said before it's the heart that matters to me most, next comes character and personality, which are both mixed in with the heart.

Mum always gets irritated that I go for older guys - preferably above 26 (they just seem to make more sense to me than 21-24 year olds)

I also tend to go for guy who are quite tall, fairly well built, dark hair and eyes, and definitely not 'pretty boy'...

ie - the man I'm in love with:

1) 29
2) Well built
3) 6'1 (and a bit, he hastens to add)
4) long brown hair and green grey eyes...

And the aforementioned sense of humour (usually sarcasm) is always good

A great sense of accomplishment, and someone who is very informed and knowledgeable always gets my head turned

Of course, it's always the eyes that get me first, followed by the smile

Also, I'm not really into guys with hair on their chests - which is really weird

I tend to like blonde hair and blue eyes or brown hair and hazel-brown eyes. I am 6'1" and seem to be attracted to women who are around 6" shorter, although one I dated was 5'0".

I don't really have a 'type' as such, but I prefer blondes, or red heads, or brunettes, that pretty much covers it all, hehe. Eye colour, blue or brown, I'm fairly easy. I don't like a girl who is extremely short (I'm 6'4" it does make things a little awkwardish) It sounds cliche, but I like personality more than a specific look. I'm fun, I enjoy a good laugh, I can be a little whacky at times. *shrug* I'm looking for someone similar, you know.

I find most women attractive so I really only differentiate by personality. That being said, I do tend to gravitate toward more punkish/gothic styles.

Personallity wise, strength is the foremost thing which attracts me. By strength I mean, someone who knows who they are and live according to that despite what flack they may catch.
Intelligence is another important factor for me. By that I mean, someone who is willing to use their God given minds to contemplate ideas or more simplified, someone who is willing to ask, "why?"
Another (which I could lump into strength) is faith. Gotta love Jesus or we aren't going to get along very well in a romantic relationship. (I can be friends with anyone though)

That's pretty much it in a very basic nutshell.

Oh, and there is one physical thing which totally turns off any romantic interest on my part. Overweight. I don't mean well-rounded but completely round. I just don't find that attractive in the slightest.

The "type" of guy I prefer is one who is taller than me- Im 5'9, he has dark hair-medium to darkish tanned skin and he must be more than bones. Im a skinny girl, but I find that I discriminate against skinny guys- I like big teddy bear/football player type guys.
He must be a good mix of extroverted and introverted,-, and I'm not ususally into guys who wear their hearts on their sleeves.
I always believe that God will make me fall completely in love with the skinniest, sappiest guy Ive ever seen just to get back at me.

Someone who can make me laugh and is very outgoing. Someone who is smart. I seem to also like guys between the ages of 24-29

No hoosier that isnt necessarily true- as many men as there are is as many different tastes as there are. As there are men who seek out fit women there are also men who seek out women who arent so fit. And that is a gaurantee.

I always seemed to have a "type" until the last guy I dated. I have always been attracted to men with nice hair. Don't care what color it is, I just like it when they have it. But, the last guy I dated had very little on his head but was absolutely covered with it everywhere else. Lol! A nice chest is very comforting to me as well, but, the physical things really aren't all that important.

What attracted me to the last guy was his easy smile and the twinkle in his eye. Very attractive. When I looked in his eyes, it was like God was smiling back.

I really, really miss that smile......

I'm attracted to guys first and formost who love the lord, involved in their local church and is under a pastor. Secondly, I am attracted to white guys, but also I am attractive to guys of all races as long as the opening statement macthes.

Secondly, I'm attracted to guys who love sports, including hockey, those who are fit and/or willing to keep fit. We all have flaws in our body make ups and we are willing to work at it.

I tend to be drawn more to guys with dark hair (and a dark complexion is a plus) , but I've dated guys with light hair too. I used to really like tall skinny guys, but I've grown to like "teddy bear" guys more as I've gotten older--so long as they're not unhealthy-teddybearish.

I'm pretty introverted, but I tend to like guys who are more extroverted than I am. It makes the conversation flow better.

Guys who are self-confident and are respectful are a must too.
