not really much to tell.
I just found myself wanting to look over at the person who was recently the subject of a weird dream I had (women's discussion lol). I hung out with this person and his dad and dad's gf Friday night after the ice cream social. It was the most time I'd spent around this particular individual and/or talked to him. I don't wanna crush...really I don't. I want to be friends with him if I can break him out of his shell. But...that shell is REALLY REALLY thick. (I digress....the person in question owns a cat...I met this cat for the first time Friday evening. I saw his interaction with said cat and it was sweet...
) I've just been really distracted all day. lol

just wanted to add: in the 3 1/2 years I've been going to that church, a couple of people have mentioned him to me as in "S is single and he's a really nice guy" but I've kind of dismissed it/changed the subject. It hasn't been brought up for probably at least a year. lol

isn't amazing how as much as you didn't try to peruse him.. God still keeps placing him in your life!
it's weird really. i mean, i go to a small church so it's not like i've avoided him or anything. my best friends in the church are his dad and his dad's gf. they are the SWEETEST people! i spent Easter with them too. I was there for the 'family get-together.' It's like they've taken me in, so to speak. They are the ones who've made me feel the most welcome and that i 'fit in' (something I've NEVER felt at ANY other church I've attended!). In a way I feel bad because I've never tried harder to befriend *S*. Last winter he could have used a good friend as he was going through some major depression. I was sadly oblivious to the situation...partly because I'd missed several weeks of church myself for the same reason. :*( I really think God is working on me in that way....to be more selfLESS. I really don't know why things are happening the way they are other than that but who knows....mabye I'm moving into a new phase of life (other than the obvious employment situation/career situation).
He's just SOOOOOOOOOO SHY! He's not necessarily a 'good looking' guy so he never caught my eye 'in that way' before. But....I'm not one to care about looks if the personality is good/the heart is good. We live about 30 miles away from each other so it's a little LD.....lol
All I can say is.....sigh......

*HC is trying to think of a way to be sneaky with her cell phone camera this weekend...hmmmmmm*
Short description just for the heck of it: about 6'1" or 6'2" (which is odd for me to like since I practically qualify for Oompa Loompa status!), brown eyes (dark...brown eyes), thin, doesn't have much hair left on his head--unfortunately he doesn't do much with what he has and tends to let it fly free in the wind when he rides his motorscooter thingee--one of my radio supervisors said "maybe he needs some manscaping" LOL , has a mustache...again, could use a bit of a trim there, not quite 70's porn star look but dangerously close,
'sense of style' equals tshirt and jeans-tends to wear a lot of darker coloured tshirts.
He's not someone that women would notice.....I didn't. "good looking" has never been a term I've thought of to describe him. lol But I digress.....
He's EXTREMELY quiet and when he DOES speak, you have to be close by to hear him. I don't think he's ever had a gf.
So...the 'attraction' is purely a mystery to me. Is it God showing me something I'd truly never thought of before or is it Satan trying to push me off track?

This is soooooooooooooooo not normal for me. I've often passed it off as a 'phase' and don't really want to pursue if out of fear of hurting the other person.
