CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Maybe that's true. People's egos get involved and someone inevitably winds up feeling snubbed. Makes me wonder why people bother to enter contests like that in the first place.

Well, CF dolls were always perfectly skinny, yet well-endowed, with a nice little sassy stance, perfect eyes and hair, and you could be dressed as an Elizabethan queen one day and a beach bunny the next.

Stop that, Rhamiel! If you truly care for her, you want what's BEST for her. If that means no relationships now, that's what you'll be willing to do. At least she's not rejecting you for someone else! If all you can think about is how much YOU want HER, then you're being selfish and not caring for her.

SSSSsssss.... ouch... the dreaded "I think of you as a brother" line. This phrase is only slightly better than the "I think of you as a father" line. Fortunately, we are not old enough to get that one yet.
Anyway, I have been there before, trust me. The world moves on and so will you. Who knows, this missed opportunity may leave you open for an even greater one down the road.

I don't think I've ever used that one! Srsly though, it's not as if all you men are madly in love with every woman. There are some that you think are smart and fun and cool, but you wouldn't wanna marry em. That's what we girls mean by "I think of you as a brother"; you're cool, you're awesome, but we don't wanna have your babies. Accept the compliment for what it is and don't fret over what's not meant to be! It goes both ways, girls aren't the only ones that "friendzone" people...it happens to me all the time...right here on CF lol.
