LOL! I love some of the stuff that pops out of your fingers, Psalms, lol. You crack me up.

I'm not a big talker as it is, so the phone is like...drudgery to me. I like writing emails or letters, or talking face to face. I hate instant messages, too. For some reason, having to go through all the niceties like "what's up, how are you, what are you doing, how was your day, talk to you later, have a goodnight, see ya later"...UGHHH...I don't know why, but I just hate all that stuff. I'd rather just say "Hi" at the beginning, "Bye" at the end, and fill all the middle with interesting, meaningful stuff.

I guess I might enjoy IM's with someone who could do that. Just haven't found him.

Just another facet of how being weird isn't always fun.

usually i don't care much for talking on the phone either, i prefer face to face. but sometimes that ain't possible and there is at least one person i don't mind talking on the phone with for an hour or two at a time

I agree in a way. I mean phone is limiting, though I don't dislike it or anything. In person I'm animated and can read the person far better, can help the conversation a lot. Can't always do that though, sometimes there is distance so you do what you can and hope for the best. But I talk to local friends on the phone now and then. Like last month I talked with a buddy for about two hours on the phone. I'm not like hyper-talkative or anything like that, but I do get into really lively conversations, especially in person. Either ride along or I can get people to talk. Just gotta figure out what is in their heart and then get them going hah.

I don't like IM's though. I used to use that a lot when I play mmog's, but they take way too much time away from other things. I mean at least then, because I had a large list of active people on ICQ, and I was a group leader in those games at that time. I do like to write though, don't like one liners all that much, not often, half-liners are worse.
