I blame the awesome local burrito parlor in Norfolk. And also the awesome local burrito parlor outside Fort Stewart. Oh yeah, and my recent discover of Chipotle.

I was a "stay on topic" nazi once. But I gave up. It just proved to be a lost cause in here.

It bugs the crap out of me. I still say what I want on threads. It's a forum open to the public for goodness sakes. Unless the derail is meant to hurt someone, I don't mind tangents anymore. My mind thinks in tangents. Why not post in tangents as well. I really dislike stay on topic nazi's. I am beginning to just not bother opening threads by a few people who do it.

I can be a "stay on topic" Nazi if it's my thread, it's a serious subject, and I catch someone trying to carry out a red herring. I also generally try to stay on topic (as much as possible, any way) in the hopes of having a nice discussion on the topic. I've seen too many topics never get good online discussions because they always get derailed by the second page.
