CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sometimes.. just sometimes the feeling fo knowing for sure where you stand over rides the sadness of not being picked.Thanks. I was really gutted when I found out that my crush is in a relationship, but at least now I know where I stand and can focus on other things. Besides this other guy seems really nice and has a motorbike

There's always a silver lining.. somewhere.. somtimes it's deep stuck under the mud which is under the clay which is underneath some top soil which is underneath a sunk in old tractor- but the lining is there dang it!

Yeah, although I feel a little gutted I am also very relieved and feel like a burden is removed from my shoulders as now I don't have to play the guessing game. Hopefully, when I see him at uni again, I won't feel anything towards him and can move on.
Very true, I was talking about how it could be a silver lining to my friend earlier . It just wasn't meant to be.
