  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So I sent that dating application to my real life crush; at first she thought it was a survey, and then when explained she thought I was showing her what I was submitting to a dating site. She didn't get what I was trying to get at, even though I said to 'let me know how I did' lol.

Now granted I said it was for jokes and I thought she'd get a kick out of it (to cover my butt, and cause I genuinely thought she would), but does that not seem to be the case.

I doubt this was the case (now granted, I am wishing that I didn't shoot myself in the foot with his, but still), as I had been getting vibes and signals from her, but by the time I sent it to her; not so much.

I guess you could call them mixed, but there's like...none. I don't know. I could just be assuming things, or 'afraid' (for lack of another term), or totally wrong... I don't know.
