This isn't always the case. If you try to transfer to another college, or if you apply for a graduate program somewhere, a lack of accreditation can be a BIG problem. Many schools will not accept credits from an unaccredited college, so you would have to virtually start over from scratch. Accreditation can also be an issue in a profession where you need to get certified, such as a teaching or education field. On the other hand, most businesses don't care if you're accredited or not as long as you have a good education.leah-bygrace said:Just make sure that whatever school you choose that they are accredited. I have heard that even Harvard is not accredited, but I'm not certain if that's true.
