satan is warming the world up for the coming one world gov, especially those 30 and under. They will come accustom to gov control.

Will see after about three weeks of this how is panning out with businesses being forced to close, curfews, no more than 10 to a group, no sports, etc..

Yes the COVID-19 is real, but don't believe the media for everything they say - take it with a grain of salt and pray for the truth. The truth always comes out in the end.
Take precautionary measures (wash your hands more frequently, go out less, take 2 showers, etc.) but more importantly, trust God! Look to Him and have no fear.

Look at what's happening in Italy and Spain. The bible, in Proverbs and elsewhere often compares the wise man to the fool. It's a time not to panic, not to be in denial but to be wise. The return of the Lord is soon and this virus is part of the birth pangs. God Bless You

I am confused then why are so many cases considered mild? Well, to err on the side of caution, is more reasonable than to act as if nothing is occuring. Even if you so happen to believe there is no pandemic,(which is false) there most certainly is a virus going around killing people.

What I see, and what concerns me is the constant daily fear porn. We have people hoarding toilet paper because this has been ramped up to such a hysteria. A Lot of people I have spoken with have the hurricane hype vibe about them concerning this virus. These are the people that have never been thru a cat 5, so one bearing down on them is exciting. They will actualy get 'disappointed' if the storm doesn't hit their area. I saw this with hurricane Maria. Boy did people get upset they didn't get to 'see' their 160 mph winds.

I get the same vibe with this virus. You tell people anything contrary to the sensationalism they get aggravated. It is like people actualy want to hear nothing can be done. All is doom, and death.... there is no hope at all.

And yes, like it or not. There is a real political aspect of riling up the population, causing fear in the markets, panic among constituents concerning the perception of this virus, and how it is 'mishandled'.

"Never let a good crisis go to waste". (Saul Alinsky's rules for radicals, page 89) A panicked populace will handover all types of powers to their govrenment so they will 'save' them.

Honest question what leads you to believe that the virus is part of birth pangs? Not saying you are wrong, but I am not sure you are right either.

Read your Bible.This disease is unlike any we have experienced before. This coupled with all of the crazy weather we are having, the multitude of earthquakes dailu, the daily eruption of volcanoes, corruption in governments, feels to me like labor in the transition phase. If you have not had children I don't expect you will understand that.

One thing is for sure, it's going to help move us to a cashless society (mark of the beast). With all the countries in debt and playing with negative interest rates (reported this morning), people will start taking out cash. The only solution for that will be to do away with cash altogether. We are going through the beginning of sorrows and I believe the virus is part of that. In the last 30 days, we've had over three hundred earthquakes that are not being reported in the news. 80 Million acres of unplanted crops also missed the news last year. All of this sure does look like the beginning of sorrows to me. It's real.

Many varied comments here. Funny how aggressive people get toward those that have no trust for the governments... start labeling and such..Are people not allowed their opinions anymore?

I certainly don't trust the agenda of the governments of this world.. that's for sure.

Anyway,

I don't know the truth of it's origin... or the truth of it's severity. We do know that people are dying from it, which is sad...

I will say that whatever the cause... the governments of the world, and the media.. are using it full well in their agenda's.

I would like to know.. If China knew about it in November... why did they wait till January to say anything and the big WHY.. that everyone at my work, and probably yourself, wants to know... IF it was so deadly and so fast spreading.. Why have all the governments and health organizations dragged their feet so much.

Seriously.. soon as we heard about it.. and it's potential.. we're all like.. Lock the door on China... NOW..

But, nope... dribs and drabs of action... always about a week or two late...

So many holes in the chain of protection..

We're all on special shifts at work, public sports centers all closed... yet Pearson International Air port... situation normal.. heard them off the planes like cattle.. nose to butt.. inches apart.. simple questions, no testing.. out into Ontario proper...

The airport is the hub of the petri dish. People from all over the world.. gathered together, inches apart, no stipulations in place... REALLY?

So.. how serous are they?

What ever is going on... it's not being handled well..

We're here, the horses have left the barn, and the county and they are scrambling, stumbling over themselves to close the gate and say how good of a job they have done.

This thread is a veritable clinic of nutty thinking. If it weren't my concern that some of you will be out and about, taking no precautions and thereby endangering us, I would think this is kind of funny.

Amidst all the lunacy, note how consistent and clear the message is from the experts - you know, the ones with real degrees from real universities:

- This is not "just like the flu";
- This is really, really serious;
- We need to act now, not tomorrow;
- Social distancing is exceedingly important.

Regardless of how it started, it's real now. People are getting sick and the virus is exponentially spreading. While Jesus followers don't need to live in a state of fear and panic, God gave us brains for a reason, and a healthy brain would indicate that it would be reasonable to take precautions, if not for ourselves, but for the health and safety of those who are most vulnerable.

Even IF there is some conspiracy, it is something that is outside of the control of most of us, so we need to focus on what is in our control, and that is doing what we can as a community to limit the spread of the virus.
