Jesus Christ! Bless GOD, Jesus Christ, Mary, and The Holy Spirit# Then bless my real mom Vu Thi Thuyen Huong. Honours to my real mom Vu Thi Thuyen Huong and my real dad Nguyen Binh Thuy. Congratulations to my real two sisters Nguyen Khoa Thuyen and Nguyen Khoa Thi.

I confess that I know sin exists because I was put away for child molestation. Although I have renounced from this sin and all other sins it goes to show evil exists. I have broken all the laws and know there is a spiritual aura call "Hell". I have been through a situation where no one touched me yet it feels like eternal punishment from God.

This one gets to me! I believe there is true evil and true goodness in the world. All through my life I have always had a good life that I could see. However when I was older I also witness true evil. I have a friend who is my exact age and wanted to marry her. Someone decided to jump in before me although 10 years younger and took her for himselves! She got pregnant and I am now just another smuck to her. He has managed to manipulate his way into her life claiming he is "right" for her. He "wants" her enough to force her to be with him. Now that is true evil while I sit at home thinking all good things...

If you are thinking that evil is when things "don't go your way" then
I would object and respond that you should not run the world.
Maybe you'd do a better job, but I prefer it's current setup.

Dang! What do you eat, drink, or do...?

What will happen with your belief if you get a sickness or disease...?

I'd like to point out that some things, in moderation, like caffine, or chocholate or red wine can be good for you, in moderation... Some of these things can have health beneifts and can be used to treat some things...

And, science has discovered how certain chemicals, like my anti-depressants, send seratonin, the positive thought chemical in the brain, that counters the negative ones, are tested and proven to be very effective on a person's depression problems, caused from the screwed up crap we are exposed to in our heads in this day and age and time... And I think God gave man that knowledge for these times to allieviate peoples suffering...

As long as medicine is not abused, it can be very helpful, and I think is from God, for these times were in...

God Bless!

I love how you think what one eats and drinks is ridiculous. It is! But not to me.

I'll just say that I believe the human body was designed by God to self-correct if it is healthy. Chemicals are a very recent invention. There are studies that prove that eating meat causes cancer and heart disease (See the China study)
As far as the chemicals they put in city water, flouride and chlorine are known toxins. As far as drugs, the reason the cost so much is that a certain percentage of users WILL DIE directly from it and the companies must pay out large payments to families that sue. Nearly all Psycotropic drugs include warnings that some users will develop suicidal thoughts.
It is becoming clear that artificial flavors, colors and sweeteners cause cancer and inflammation.

If it is true that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, then is it ok to ingest these poisons anyway just because our churches and government tells us its ok and we cannot find a bible verse to condemn it?

I Believe in the power of belief and faith, and since you believe many bad things about those things, then, it's probably best you stay away from them, But, I believe they are, well, some of them, in moderate amounts, are good and beneficial for me, to tell you the truth, they could probably give me sugar pills and as long as they didn't tell me, the placebo effect itself, is I believe what's actually helping, I never look at and don't read and disregard the list of only possible, like under 2% of the side effects...

But, I definitely do not think it's ridiculous on your part, matter of fact, I commend you for being able to do it and live that way, I just know, I could not... But, good for you man! More power to you!

God Bless!

Do you believe in, or that there is "Sin"...?

If not, and I would like the ones that don't, answer this one...? Do you believe in or that there is (a such thing as) "Evil" or that evil exists...?

Why, or why not?

God Bless!

No...and no...at least not in the sense that you likely mean.

Evil is a judgement that we pass on actions or people based upon their actions. It's not a thing that exists in of itself.

I happen to believe in sin and evil but I can perhaps give some insight into why people do not believe in these things. I have investigated and studied evolution theory for some time now and have studied psychology and would suggest that the main opposition to evil and sin would be because of human evolution. According to psychological concepts based in evolution theory human values, morals and behaviour have been evolved over time. As the human brain evolved and humans became smarter they developed concepts that gave meaning to life. One of the theories is Terror Management Theory where humans become aware of their inevitable death which causes them to live in terror of one day dying. So they invent meanings to life which can soften the reality of death and a common idea for this comes from religious thought such as divine concepts like life after death.

This is also connected to self-esteem and people will have ideas of what is good and bad for how to live. From this values and morals are created as part of religious belief. A person's self-esteem will be measured by how much they can adhere to the morals and values they have assigned to their lives. Another theory comes from evolution and survival pressures. Humans have learnt to get along to survival by avoiding conflicts which give the group a better chance of survival. From this societies are formed and this is where codes of conduct and values allow societies to run more smoothly. Culture also plays its part and every culture will have a different approach to how they believe their culture should act according to a mixture of influences such as religion, tradition, family, economic status etc.

These may all have some influence but I believe the spiritual aspect plays an important part. I like what Paul talks about in Romans 8 when he talks about the spirit of God and being a slave to sin. By accepting Jesus we live in the spirit and bear the fruits of the spirit to overcome sin. Otherwise, we are slaves to sin and are powerless to defeat sin. Humans are made in the image of God and are different to animals in that we have this divine dimension. The bible says we are all sinners and we all have the law of God written in our hearts and that our conscience will bear witness to this by either excusing or accusing us before God.

People may learn to suppress this spirit and live according to the world's ideas of right and wrong and truth. If we only include the physical and psychological aspects of being human then everything comes down to chemical reactions and evolution. Everything is based on survival which can go against Christ's teachings of sacrifice and following Gods will. If we look at animals they can kill for survival and this can be excused as just an evolutionary adaptation that has no the moral value. As we have seen humans can be very evil which goes beyond what an animal would do as though there is some evil intent. We can also feel guilt even if we may have been found innocent according to societies rules and laws.

Many non-believers will not believe in an objective right and wrong. Rather there is no ultimate right or wrong and each person has a subjective view of what they personally believe about morality. This undermines the truth and goes against Gods laws which are designed to help us live in harmony and have a better life. So this is why it is important to include the spiritual aspect of life as this makes us complete and gives us the best life. As Jesus says in
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Sin doesn't exist. Evil is a term people use to describe actions we find bad

There IS .Good vs. Evil,Love vs. Indifference and Hatred ,Light vs. The Darkside...There IS a difference between the two's above and can clearly be understood by observation in the Real-World as "Right" and on the other hand(left???)there is "Wrong".

You can convolute Reality and twist things around, put the downside in an upright-position or the upside at the bottom, wear your clothes inside-out,back to front(and even convince yourself and others that everything is fine!) but there IS still a "Right-ness" and a "Wrong-ness" and there IS Righteousness and the Reality of Evil and Wickedness: i.e: Sin.

If a total-stranger were to purposefully kick me while I was already down on the ground with an injury,I would NOT then think to myself: "It was 'a choice' he/she made" or "he/she had 'good-intentions'..." Far from it,in fact!!! I'd question that individual's Moral-Character.Right and Wrong,Good and Evil can exist in some proximity to one another, but the two are distinctive.

Do you believe there is such a thing as "right and wrong" outside of human thought?

Well, just consider some Christian theology denies the substantive existence of evil, I think this is a difficult question. We have to define what we mean by exist. Do we mean existing as a concept, or existing as a reality?

Santa clause can exist as a concept, but nobody is going to say he is real; when I say "real" I mean existing in reality.

Absolutely sin and evil exist.

Sin is anything that intentionally or unintentionally misses the mark of God's perfection and glory.

Evil is intentionally violating HIS will.

Do you think evil and wicked have a different meaning, or it depends?

Those are specifically English terms which are irrelevant as to biblical truth. You have to go to the original Hebrew and Greek.

No and no.

One persons evil is another persons justified action.

The only metric here is societal norms.
