Now that is a different approach. Paul tolerating commandment keepers instead of teaching them.

Isn't that something? :)

I've absolutley no idea how that conclusion is arrived at from what I said. I didn't forbid marriage. Marriage isn't the focus of the discussion or what I said.

But nice verse quote.
I agree. Obviously he missed something. Maybe he got in a hurry.

What do you mean by we're free indeed? I see you trying to force keeping the law point everywhere.

We are free from the OC law of circumcision but not all OC law. We have forgiveness each and every time we fail to obey Christ and what he teaches, as we ask forgiveness and only as we forgive others ourself. Jesus didn't invent anything new that already wasn't law. Everything He teaches is already in the law of God. So the whole law is not dead as far as Jew or Gentile is concerned.

SWhat are you including in the whole law that us lowly gentiles have to keep? Are these part of it? Just curious

I agree that Christians should obey all 613 commandments...

...or they should accept the gift of grace by faith that justifies through the shed blood of God's Son, Jesus.

Its either the one or the other.

Because the false teachers hadn't crawled out from under the rocks yet!! Hold on though, they're coming soon.
:D
Those have been around for centuries, and 2 Peter 2:1 confirms they would show up in their century.

But Reve 16 does show 1 particularly nasty false prophet.
I wonder if he will show up on GT :)

2Peter 2:1 There became yet also false prophets in the people, as also in ye shall be false teachers, whoany shall be carrying in sects of destruction. And the One buying them, Owner/Master/despothn <1203> disowning, bringing on them swift destruction.
[Jeremiah 14:14,15/Matt 24:11/Jude 1:4]

Reve 16:13 And I saw out of the mouth of the Dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false-prophet three unclean spirits as-like frogs

613 Laws of the Old Testament

Do you agree that Christians should obey all 613 commandments?

It is impossible for Christians to obey all 613, for anyone really. What is your point for doing this? You say it 'should be wonderful for those who wish to wallow in the Law' thus casting dispersions on the Torah and ridiculing it.

By this I take it you do not do any of these randomly chosen of the 613?

 1. know there is a God
 2. love Him
 3. fear Him
 4. sanctify His Name
 5. To listen to the prophet speaking in His Name (this includes Jesus)
 6. To emulate His ways
 7. Respect your father or mother

or

 1. Not to testify falsely
 2. Not to embarrass others
 3. Not to oppress the weak
 4. Not to speak derogatorily of others
 5. Not to inquire into idolatry
 6. Not to blaspheme
 7. Mourn for relatives

or

 1. To repent and confess wrongdoings
 2. To serve the Almighty with prayer daily
 3. To afflict and cry out before God in times of catastrophe
 4. Not to have relations with your mother, sister, son's wife, daughter, etc
 5. A man/woman must not have relations with a beast
 6. Not to eat blood
 7. Not to take God's Name in vain
or

 1. Not to break oaths or vows
 2. Not to put a stumbling block before a blind man
 3. To leave a corner of the field uncut for the poor
 4. To give charity
 5. Not to stand idly by if someone's life is in danger
 6. Help another remove the load from a beast which can no longer carry it
 7. Not to insult or harm anybody with words

King David, a man after G-ds own heart rhapsodized over the Torah........

Happy are they that are upright in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

Thou hast ordained Thy precepts, that we should observe them diligently.

Oh that my ways were directed to observe Thy statutes! Then should I not be ashamed, when I have regard unto all Thy commandments.

With my whole heart have I sought Thee; O let me not err from Thy commandments.

Thy word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee.

Open Thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law.

Jesus fulfilled the Law so we do not have to. He said it is finished. Either it is or it isn't. Which do you believe? If righteousness could be attained by the Law then Christ died for nothing. The summation of it is found in Acts 15. and the familiar 'If we love the Lord with all our hearts, love our neighbors as ourselves', and follow these words...
““For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials: that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell.”” (Acts 15:28–29, NASB95)
I can see no reason to point a finger at anyone and say they are lacking. I mean what do we do argue with the Holy Ghost? If he says we are doing well who are we to tell someone otherwise? Jesus lived under the Law perfectly, he died under the Law sinless and arose to heaven to present that offering to the Father. It was accepted. He now gives us grace within these boundaries I have set forth as I see it in the Scripture.

Did you notice the redundancy?

Who put this together, and were they under the direction of the Holy Spirit? Reading it alone is shriveling to one's spirit. God never is. As Jesus said Himself:

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." ~Matthew 11:28-30

Sounds like Jesus was telling those burdened under this soul-killing nonsense to come to Him for relief from these shackles and chains.

I would go for the "it is finished" :)

John 19:30 When then Jesus had received/got the vinegar, He said "it has been finished!".
And reclining the head He gives-up the spirit.

Revel 1:18 and the living-one!
And I became dead and behold! I am living into the ages to-the ages, amen.
And I am having the keys of the death and of the hades."

Of course not all 613, this is the New Testament so just 612.
