I am here because I do not understand why people would believe something for what I see as no reason at all, you might say I don't understand because I am not a believer, but how is anyone going to be a believer if they don't understand what it is they are supposed to understand? that must be the reason religions always target children, they don't question they just believe.

Why are Christians so afraid to speak to people who do not believe as they do? can they be talked out of believing? I am sure they can because why else would Christians be permanently on the defensive?

Why are you so defensive when we quote the bible to you stating you are a sinner and in need of a saviour? You attack our faith and then call us defensive when we respond.

Christians are not "afraid" to talk with non-Christians. What we are not interested in doing, however, is entering into arguments with someone who has no interest in actually asking us why we believe what we do. If you truly do have questions, perhaps it would be better if you asked them, rather than insulting all of the Christians on this forum. If you choose to be condescending and to mock Christian belief, how do you expect any Christian here to believe you have real questions?

I can't tell what speed you typed that text in, just as you can't tell the speed in which this text was typed. Next time you try to insult me, at least do it right.

Of course not what else could you say? the others would all say the same as you that's why all religions are so ridiculous,
each religions blinkers stop you all from seeing the obvious, you have all been taken in by lies, all religions can't be true but they can all be false, each religion has the same amount of supporting evidence as Robin Hood...... None.

Each believer is afraid of their own belief but couldn't care less about all the others, which should tell every believer that they are all the same and not one of them has one iota of truth supporting them.

There is more historical evidence and support (ancient documents) than there are for any of these other books, or even for the writings of the ancient Greek philosophers, which are never likewise questioned.

Yes, a single person, as compared to many books written by authors over a long span of time that were eventually assembled to form what you consider to be sacred scripture. Again, I'll repeat the question, but a little differently this time: why should we consider the Bible "the word of God"?
