We are very close to the end of the Church age. Then we will enter into the Kingdom age. Some people believe we are already in the Kingdom age. When we will rule and reign with Christ for 1,000 years.
How do you know we are close to the end of the church age?

No. No, no, no no no no no. That's like saying you'll support the guy who adulters with women because he's not as bad as the guy who adulters with men. They are BOTH wrong, they are BOTH against God, and the time has come to stop voting for the lesser evil.
I get what you are saying. I had the same struggle this past election. But I realized that I never have voted for a candidate who wasn't a sinner. Jesus isn't running for office, so vote your conscience.

I'm against - but you can't be a single-issue voter

The party that fights abortion is also the party that steals from the poor (and middle) and gives to the rich.

Are you for or against that?

How do they steal from the poor?

I'm saying that both republican and democratic agendas, though seemingly so opposite, arise from the same source and reach the same destination. And that we ought not to support either one of them.

By not voting for either of them, but for a third party is giving away your power. You are throwing away your vote.

Do we vote, and for whom?

Those who attempt to make a direct link from Biblical prophecy to current events have a poor track record - often it is nothing more than a ploy by televangelists to
generate "contributions!"

Christians, however, should never place too much faith in secular governments and leaders and even less in televangelists - the lower one's expectations, the less one will experience the inevitable disappointment/disillusionment!

I understand, which is why I use the gift of discernment in both! Just stay away from telextortionists, who beg for money using terms like "love gift," and "seed faith" and their whole ministry is based on prosperity - give to get.

As a dispensationalist I believe the church age is 2000 years in length. So to know the end we need to know when the first Pentecost was. I believe that took place in the year AD29. So 2029 will be the 2,000 year anniversary of the church. When this age ends then the Kingdom age will begin. The most popular belief is that there are 7 years in between the Church age and the Kingdom age.

But if the Holy Spirit said, 'don't vote for either side' would we really hear and/or listen?
We are to become one with God in the same way we are to become one with our wife. They say if mamma ain't happy then no one is happy. So our contentment in life should be in God's happiness with us.

We were told thousands of years ago where the world would end up - in the hands of the antichrist. Each successive world leader is but a stepping stone towards that end. Seeing as there is no way to vote ourselves off this path (since the path has been set according to the Word of God), does it make sense to vote at all any more?

A few simple rules to live by when it comes to politics.

1. We do vote.
2. We don't vote for abortion or changes to the Bible definition of marriage etc.
3. And in the U.S we vote for democracy not socialism.
4. We don't vote for "violence if you don't elect the person I think should be in office"

But the republicans don't uphold Christian values.

no party is stacked with only-saints. That is a given.

The question is which one will destroy moral values "the fastest" in America and is there a pretty high premium moral value on not killing babies -- in the case of the Christian voter.

I think it gets pretty easy to resolve what is the right thing to do at some point.

And in the case of one of the two major parties I think the "unhinged" quality in a hard push for hard left is starting to drive more and more of their centrist moderate voters away.

I sympathize with your point of view. But it is totally unrealistic, bordering on Utopian. Until Christ himself runs for office, voting for the lesser evil is the best option we have. And it has been this way from the very beginning.

The #1 issue is abortion. Are you for or against it?
Life is always the right choice to make. Heaven is already filled with Babies that we are going to need to train and raise up in the Lord.

I'm curious to see how this plays out, because if Trump loses I fully expect there will be violence.

So until Christ comes it's ok to support the man who fornicates with women because he's a lesser evil than the man who fornicates with other men.

Sorry, I just can't buy that excuse any more.

Just in today's paper (Los Angeles Times)
Income inequality at highest level in more than 50 years, census figures show

Since Saint Reagan was ordained, the average worker has not seen a effective raise despite productivity skyrocketing. Most have seen cuts in health coverage and retirements, despite corporate profits soaring. Safety net provisions have been slashed and slashed again. Trumps tax cuts lined the pockets of the rich at the expense of $1 trillion more added to the deficit, which the R's have again and again tried to cover by cutting programs for the poor. Republican Jeff Bezos just cut health care benefits to 1900 of his employees, even tho he is worth $114 BILLION. The R's have been pushing 'trickle down' since 1985, and not ONCE has any of it actually trickled down. Meanwhile, CEO compensation has skyrocketed despite productivity losses. God said the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer... and the R's are exactly the people who are bringing this to pass.

NONE of which I would have to explain if people would just stop drinking the kool-aid and pay attention to what is actually going on around them.

Jeff Bezos? ROFL How does he affect you? Do you work at Amazon? That has nothing to do with him being Republican, just an %&$!

God has everything under control. He declares the end from the beginning. "I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.'" (Isaiah 46:10)

And if His purpose is to get the world under the antichrist, who and how are we to stop it?
