It is the hope that remains. Not to those that think that they have it already but to those who have never been defiled by a woman, as the time is right and born through the word as children to enter heaven.
It is that to be absent from the body is to turn your foot from fleshly desire and to embrace the understanding of the word of God. If it is that you have understanding then the word is in you and if you have the word you have our Father also. Not to be confused with going to heaven. If your feet are clean, is not the rest of your body clean also ?
But who were these 2 men, it says that no one has ever gone in to heaven except Jesus.. This is obviously an inconsistency?
Interesting, "Search4". First you ask a question like you're really disturbed about what your father told you, then you quote all sorts of scripture demonstrating your 'knowledge'. But you tell me the need to accept Jesus in Chapter 3 of John eludes you.
I wouldn't say disturbed, I'd say there's reason to question whether we do or not. No the need to accept Jesus is not the question, or the problem. Though im asuuming thats what the parable is about. What gets me is this gulf or hell fire burning pit, and all the other verses which say we come from the dust to dust we will return etc and modern day Christians using verses like "In my fathers house are many mansions, if it were not true I would not tell you, I go to prepare a place for you." And they leave it at that, for example. So when you look closer at it and see, AND I WILL COME AGAIN and receive you unto myself, so that where I am..(Jesus to be on earth) There you may be also, and the way you will know.!!'' This is deceitful, some even go as far as to take those words away and say I go to heaven to prepare a place for you in Heaven. Like thats where we are going. I talked to a Baptist pastor once, and asked him to show me where this Devil lucifer fallen Angel comes from.. He turned me to Isaiah 14 and pointed me to the few verses.. I said Okay? Hm I then looked at the start of Chapter 12 13 and 14 and noticed something common, The Destruction Of Babylon. At the start of Isaiah 14 it says thou shalt take up this proverb and deliver it to the King of Babylon... Nebuchadnezzar? Its false! When i showed him this he pointed me to the King of Tyre, and same thing.. Proverb to the king of Tyre. I went through my whole life believing this stuff and then When i point it out to the pastor he says, "well i dont know" .. So heres someone whos been studying for 5 years, preaching for another 4 or 5 years on top of that telling everyone to "watch out for this devil" or We're All going to heaven if we're good and Hell if we are bad, only to find out that its complete crap. The blind leading the blind..Thats how i see it. So I need to know, God is not the Author of confusion, If i put my mind to it and study it in every detail then I am sure I will come to an understanding. Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter.
How curious.
Well, here's another quote of Jesus you won't find or understand:
For the one who has will be given more, and he will have more than enough. But the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
