Do we have guardian angels?

That depends on your definition of guardian angels. In some sense, we do, Psalm 91:

11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. 12 On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.

Psalm 34:

7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them.

Matthew 18:

10. See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.

Hebrews 1:

14 Are not all angels spirits in the divine service, sent to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?

At the same time, I am born of the Spirit. The Paraclete dwells in me.

Internally, the Paraclete dwells in me permanently. Externally on some special occasions, God sent his angels to protect me in spiritual warfare. It does not mean that nothing bad would ever happen to us. This world is a testing ground.

Well when Peter was set free and he knocked on the door as they were praying for him. They believed it was? "Peters angel". There is allot more to this but.. yes we have guardian angels

Not sure, there is no verse stating a believer receives an angle when they become a born again child of God. Like where The bible states believers receive The Holy Spirit, when they become a believer.

Like Blade states the believers thought it was Peter's angel knocking at the door. But God could have assign angels to the apostles, as they ,may have been under attack from satan.

I attribute all " types " of guidance, protection etc. to His Holy Spirit who dwells in all belivers. This is His promise to us. He did not promise guardian angels. Additionally, be aware of Satan's tactics, he too has his own angels and they disguise themselves as " angel's of light". And lastly, Satan used a verse from Psalm 91 to tempt Jesus Christ of Nazareth into thinking angels would come to His rescue if He jumped. Only God sends angels to do His will , deliver a message, but Satan's angels will deceive, delivering destruction. Blessings.

For He will give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.

 

[3 Resurrections]

Speaking of the angels in Hebrews 1:14, the YLT has a very interesting way of translating this verse. It says, "Are they not all spirits of service - for ministration being sent forth because of those ABOUT TO inherit salvation?"

I would propose that this IMMINENT inheritance of salvation of these individuals is not the point of their believing in Christ, but the point when those believers are going to receive their bodily resurrection. Angels are sent forth on that occasion as a heavenly transport service for the newly-resurrected believers. After all, Christ once gave a parable in which He explained that at the resurrection "harvest", that the reapers would be the angels (Matthew 13:39).

That being the case, I believe this Hebrews 1:14 verse is speaking about a bodily resurrection event for the saints. It is comforting to know that at the moment the changed, immortal body of a saint rises from the dust of the grave by the Spirit's power, it is escorted by the angels into God's very presence, because that is the ultimate culmination of our salvation inheritance .

Don't often share this but a friend of ours' father was in the ICU. He was unconscious and not expected to survive. We were in the second waiting room and were there to support the family. About mid-afternoon, unexpectedly a prophetic friend said do you hear music? It's getting louder and louder plus there's laughter. They're right there. Now they're stationary. Then he said they're leaving. Their laughter and the music is fading. Now it's getting very faint. I don't hear them anymore.

In a few minutes, the nurse came and told the family that their father, grandfather had passed. Of course, they were upset - some very upset. I can't explain exactly the feelings - thinking about the family and their loss while at the same time thinking about what he must be experiencing.
