  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I vote Hillary.......for Prison.

Seriously, that woman needs to be in prison for her crimes. The only reason she's still in the race, is because she's trying to wait out the statute of limitations which is almost up. She knows she's not going to beat Trump, and she's willing to sink the entire democratic party just to stay out of jail, lol. It's rather pathetic when you look at it...

I'm sure there is a group of party-crashers that follow Trumps rallies and cause havoc. They're probably paid.

easy to determine if the same faces show up over and over. I do think you're probably right though.

The reason Bernie hasn't folded his tent probably is because he knows there's a real chance of an indictment. Unfortunately for him, the party would most likely turn to Biden if that happens, not to Sanders. But don't you also think that there's a good chance Hil will escape conviction for the reason that Obama has handcuffed the Justice Department and the FBI and is not allowing them to do their jobs?

Could not agree with you more Pappa Zoom....those protesters are the lowest things ever in the US.

I read somewhere that the AP reported that there were "no injuries reported." I'll be checking the MSM websites to see how many cover this above the fold. ABC already did its job and for that I have gained a bit of respect for them. Let's see if others follow suit.

It's either that, or the FBI is stalling until Hillary wins the Nomination and THEN they will indict her. Maybe the FBI (not the people in charge, I mean the ones handling the investigations) want Trump in there, so they're gonna wait until Hillary wins the nomination and then hit her with an indictment.

Then what happens? Bernie already lost, Hillary's indicted... then it'd be basically Trump vs Write-ins. IIRC, once they (Dems or Reps) nominate someone, they're stuck with it.

I partially agree--that there's a logic in waiting until after the nomination. But I think that if it happens, she will escape prosecution by withdrawing from the race, and the party will replace her with Biden, which will be legal because the nominee has withdrawn, just as would happen if she'd died.

In most cases you vote for the lesser evil. But in this case they are both equal to me. I personally really don't want to vote because no matter who I vote for, neither is going to improve this country. If I was forced, like someone put a gun to my head to vote I'd pick trump BARLEY. He will probably be the cause of WW3 or at the least many hating our country. But if I pick Hillary, she goes against every christian value we christians believe And I think she would make life even harder for christians.

So in other words I have to pick the person who is more christian like in what they want to do. Trump, sadly, is as close as we are going to get. Which isn't saying much when you see the stupid things he says. BTW not saying hes christian, just saying he seems to at least have SOME sort of values barley closer to christians then Hillary does.

Again, I'm still not even sure I want to vote because in the future people are going to be like "Didn't you vote for this person who destroyed america?" (though Obama got the ball rolling on destruction). I don't want to be one of those votes either way. So for the present time I probably would not vote at all. I don't like my choices. Its like playing russian roulette except all the chambers have bullets in them. We all lose.

Heres a picture I made for Facebook that best describes it all when people ask who I will vote for:

Yeah, but she says in that article that it's still Trump's fault: "“He created an environment in which it seemed to be acceptable for someone running for president to be inciting violence, to be encouraging his supporters,” she continued. “Now we’re seeing people who were against him responding in kind. It should all stop. It is not acceptable.”"

So Hillary may as well say about a rape victim: "She created the situation that enticed the rapist by wearing that skimpy dress!"

You're kidding, right?

Putin absolutely loathes Obama and has none too nice words for Hillary as well.
Our biggest ally in the Middle East, Israel, Netanyahu doesn't like Obama either, and Hillary is just more Obama.

Both of these people said that they like Trump and they can get along with Trump.

If WW3 is gonna get started, it'd be having something to do with Russia. How do you get that Trump would start WW3 when Putin says he likes Trump more than Obama or Hillary?

Also, let's look at the fact that Trump has businesses going in many foreign countries and he's used to doing business with foreign countries. He knows more about these people than the politicians do.

It won't matter in my State whom I vote for. Hillary will win hands down no matter what. (in this State anyway)

That kinda mentality is only going to help make it a reality. Who knows, maybe Hillary will stick her foot in her mouth one too many times and the vote will be much closer, and if enough people like you were to swing, who knows....

I think this is exactly right and many political pundits see it this way as well.

Oh yes, blame it on Trump. *rolls eyes* Sticks and Stones and all that. "Trump said some mean things so I gotta go there and attack his supporters!"

This is the kind of mentality the people who favor Clinton and Sanders have?
I was pointing out that Clinton condemned the violence at the Trump rally, correcting the error of a previous post that stated Democrats were keeping silent.
Personally, I'm embarrassed by the violence and hatefulness directed at Trump supporters as well as that directed at His opposition.
However, I feel that Trump getting elected is the worst possible thing that can happen to the future of this country, and as a parent I see a vote for Trump as a vote against my children.

Yeah, but rather than blame the PEOPLE who are doing the violence, she shifts the blame onto her opponent who had nothing to do with it instead.

Instead of saying "You should be ashamed of yourselves... you're not helping me by doing this." She said "It's all Trump's fault they're acting like this!"

On this issue of peace and war, the complaints against Trump are just whatever sounds the most awful. If the Left and the Dems are to be believed, he'll ruin the country by NOT putting our troops into every hot spot in the world and arming every other country that appears to be on our side but won't tend to its own defenses...but at the same time, he's supposed to be going to plunge the world into WW3 because he's obviously a warmonger and an "authoritarian" (which, translated, means he's promised to start mending the country and returning to Constitutional government).

This.

Trump wants to pull our military out of the far corners of the world and bring them HERE instead of meddling in everybody else's foreign affairs and that somehow makes him the most likely to start WW3. Okaaay, sure, whatever.

If WW3 happens, if anyone is to blame, it's the Bushes, Hillary and Obama. They've been destabilizing an already volatile powder keg and if the fuse was already lit before Trump takes office, then it ain't Trump's fault, because he didn't light the fuse in the first place.

Trump, ever since the 80s, has been VERY vocal against the wars in the Middle East and our meddling in their governments. He's wanted peace all of this time. If we had taken his advice since the 80s, ISIS wouldn't exist.
