The first iron beast nation was Rome.

By now all nations are iron beasts, and their messenger is typically anti-god.

Expecting a Christian nation to pop-up is pretty unrealistic.
Is it unrealistic to expect Christians to govern themselves according to their principles?

I agree. Biblically, there is no such thing as a Christian nation, for as Revelation tells us:

“And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,” (Re 5:9 NKJV)

by now we are all grafted in regardless of the banner bloodline we carry, with all the diasporas I doubt there is any such thing as a natural branch anymore. Of course, Christ doesn't seem to care much about bloodlines.

That doesn't really appear to be related to my post, since the beasts are spiritual in nature, representing a nation.

Read the book,

The Magna Carta of Humanity: Sinai's Revolutionary Faith and the Future of Freedom

By Oz Guiness. Most will be amazed at how biblical the founding of this nation was based on.

The general sentiment among western believers is that without Christ nations are predisposed to evil citing places/people like ISIS, China, or North Korea as their proof. Is this true? Are there examples of cultures, people groups and/or nations that have risen to goodness and prosperity that can mirror "Christian" nations without the mores of Christianity or dominantly without Christ as their shepherd? Or does a state without Christ destine to failure, corruption, greed and poverty because they are lost?

There are plenty of examples of Christian nations failing so failure alone is not good enough but it is failure without Christ and without a history of Christian values. One country comes to mind for me... Japan. A part of the G7 nations with about a percent being Christian. This makes then an unreached people group and in some areas an unengaged unreached people group. A nation without Christ yet prosperous and generally "good". They have their hedonistic issues of course but none that seem to out weight "christian" nations. So why have their christ-less achievements been so fruitful?
Yes for example Wokism. Its very much like religion and Christainity in that it has a moral code and a metaphysical basis for a spiritual identity. BUt instead of Christ it is the human identity being sacred and above all. Its not physical in nature but spiritual or transcedent and cannot be proven like Christ with objective reality.

We even see behaviour that is similar in that people are made high priests such as DEI and Trans professionals who claim to hold special knowledge of the truth of human and societal order. They teach opr rather preach the gospel of Woke to academia and the institutions.

We have even seen at one point people bowing a knee to the Woke DEI gods. We see heresay in that those who contradict the ideology are cancelled and ostrasized from the public square.

Its dangerous because its so good at mimicking Christainity and in fact some churches have gone Woke as false prophests making it even more convincing to those who only look at the superficial. It uses nobel causes to sneak in anti Christian ideology. Its literally the wolf in sheep clothing of modern times.

In fact in some ways like the Pharisees of the bible who stood up virtue signalling to society about what is the law of Woke.

Yes, totally. This forum is a good example of Christians not govern according to Scripture .

"Gneral sentiment" ? Specific nations ? ALL nations give plenty of proof/evidence daily of the evil of manking clearly identified throughout all Scripture, especially in the days of Noah = the end days today. Too much conflict here or any thread or any forum known to discuss freely.
