Hmm....

Well basically to give you the short version. I gave my life to jesus about 2 years ago. Last september my pastor left taking half the church congregation with him. Including two of my best mates who now hate me. My life didn't seem worth living. Started to cut myself, didn't eat etcetc.

Didn't pray for about 6 months, no joke. Still attended church and made out everything was fine. Went to soul survivor (Christian festival) in the summer of this year. Kinda sorted myself out but the screwed up again and haven't been at all good since.

I don't have a clue where i stand with God at the moment. Everytime I try and pray i find myself doubting that there is even anyone listening and the i can hear satan laughing at me. I don't know what to do:help:
well if your saved you belong to Jesus Christ,Dont
listen to satan,Hes a lyer and the Father of them.

As for the paster leaveing with friends of yours,?Where did he go to another Church.

Jesus Christ is the one that loves you people will always let you down Jesus never will .He tells us he
will be with us till the end of this earth age.He never
forsakes us even thought we may think so.
I have seen two of Gods angels and also satans angels Jesus is alive and doing what he always does drawing people to him.

Put you trust in Jesus not people they will always
let you down Jesus never will.

I heard a great sermon many years ago. Definition of great - I still remember it. It was called "Don't Park Here". The substance of it was, that the Christian life is a thouroughfare, not a parking lot.

Therefore we should not park by our successes. When things are going well we are still dependant upon God and need to maintain our relationship and our passion.

We should not park by our failures. Only in our failures do we get the clarity of thought necessary to actually improve our Christian walk. Usually failure will drive us into the arms of God, as we search for reasons. Learn the lesson of failure and move on.

We should not park by our abilities (or lack of abilities). God wants to use us, just as we are, and while still in the process of becoming all that we can be. There was the great example of horribly ugly and disfigured man who hid himself in his bedroom. God came to him and said "I am not going to heal you, but I would like to use you. You can stay in here a prisoner, or walk out into my purposes for your life." That man became a missionary to India or China (can't remember which), and then a great motivator of young men onto the mission field. Don't let your pride in your ability, or your fear of your lack of ability prevent you from being all that God wants you to be.

Finally, don't park by your hurts. People are going to hurt you. Christian people are going to hurt you. Even the pastor is going to hurt you. Why? Because they are people. So while our focus might be on ministering to the people around us, the source of our strength, and the joy of life in our Christian walk, comes solely from God alone, who sustains us, encourages us, and enables us. When people hurt you, get your focus on God. Don't park by the hurt, but move on. Don't ever let your Christian salvation and walk be determined by what another Christian or pastor does or doesn't do. When our leaders do well, they are a great example to follow. When they do poorly, it reminds us of their humanity, and may even assist us in relating better to them as people. Their performance however is never the measuring rod of your relationship with God. Move on in the strength of God.

So those are the four areas where it is easy to park, and begin to let life pass us by. However, we are challenged to "Don't park here"....keep moving in the direction that God leads you.

God bless.

Excuse me why should I have to accept him? That is not what scripture teaches. What you suggest is that we have something to do with our salvation, but the Bible teaches that we can't do anything for salvation. It is ALL Christ!

Something very wrong with this statement here. Romans 15:7 clearly states, "Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God."

like the others were saying, being 'christian' technically is accepting Jesus and your savior and God as your Lord...you know the rest.. but you gotta remember that following God isnt an easy straight road, its got twist and turns that involve your full attention, daily devotions... read the bible, study it, prayyy, anything that keeps you in the presence of God.. because as soon as you start to slowly drift away, Satan comes with his sneaky ways and tries to keep you and push u farther and farther from God. Dont let Satan get that chance, he knows you so well, all the things that make you happy and sad and he'll use them against you

I just have to say this:

If you can hear Satan laughing, you know someone is must be listning.

But I still count you as a Christian Brother.

once we accept christ all hell breaks loose.. the good news is that we have power and victory through jesus. does this mean we will never fail or have hard times, no. you must hear the spirit of god and understand what is happening in your life and why. what we go through allows us to help others. may god bless you and give you guidance

I consider you a "luke warm" Christian. I dont mean that in any disrespect. But it sounds like you are not living the total life but you want to live the life. You are basically on the fence deciding what you want. I am not trying to sound defensive or hurtful in anyway. But what I am saying, my stratling the fence you are not making a statement of your Christianity. Every person has been there...What you have to do, no matter of the doubt or the feelings you may have pray to God asking him to forgive you and set you free of all of this.

Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and all good things will come. I dont want to sound like I am preaching to you. But I was 15 once too and those trials and troubles are all to familiar. Just be strong pray your way through it despite the doubt you may have! God will inturn bless you!

God Bless,
Jenn
