I note that this analysis implies that God's Mercy requires two actions from man, and is therefore limited.

God has perfect mercy
God has perfect justice as well

We can know God's will insofar as He revealed it to us through the deposit of faith, and by that we can know what can lead us to heaven or what can lead us to hell because God revealed it to us.
