"The laws of physics" are not the same as the unchanging Laws of God.
Close, the laws of physics are reflected in the Justice of God. His scales of Justice are perfectly evenly balanced. Just as the universe is very exact and precise. People try to say God is not just when nothing could be further than the truth. Nothing is going to happen to anyone that they do not cause or bring on themselves. God is blameless in all He does.

In weather they call this the butterfly effect. This illustrates how small initial changes can lead to significant consequences over time. It’s often associated with chaos theory and complex systems.
  • The term was coined by mathematician and meteorologist Edward Lorenz in the 1960s.
  • Lorenz discovered that even tiny variations in initial conditions could dramatically alter weather predictions.

My point is, the "law of entropy" is not a god. God can freeze or even reverse and decrease entropy as He wills. For example, the miracles of Jesus even before the Resurrection.
I have never seen a miracle that did not restore things to God's plan and purpose. It is difficult to prove a miracle because you have to prove there was some sort of issue or problem that needed resolved. After a miracle everything looks normal and the way it should be. We have to accept reality the way it is. We just adjust ourselves to it. I work with UV light and sometimes that can create an issue where the colors can change on you. This is why they like to filter out UV light. So that is an example of how things can change and how we respond to that change. Of course women use neon makeup and finger nail polish. Then they go where they have black lights so they can glow.

In theater they tell us if we control the lighting we can control people reality. This is why Taylor Swift just made one billion dollars on her tour. Because they put on one heck of a show. I have a lot of respect for her because she was giving her people $100,000 bonus. Because she know how much they were responsible for her success. There are many people behind the stage for that person who likes to stand in the spotlight.

I could easily write a book on the physics of light and how that applies to color theory. Although I am not that good at matching colors. I have to get Alexa to help me to coordinate color. For example she will say blue and gold are associated with luxury, elegance and wealth. So I know I create a feeling in people when I use colors like that. Advertisers know all to well how important color is to sell their product.

I try now, in my "advanced" age, not to dwell too long on science and even in probing the possible relationship(s) of physics and the ways of God. I left science several decades ago, after my search for Truth led me to where God would find me, and convince me where (or in Whom) Truth is to be found. It is not, ultimately, in science - where certitude (which God offers) - finds very limited space in the field of science. Science seems precise in a Newtonian world, which fades into uncertainty and probabilities in the same created world if one looks (or tries to "see") into the very small. It fades into relativity in the world of the the very large/massive and very fast-moving things.

God made us to be comfortable and reasonable in the range of observation we are given naturally. When we begin - with our technology - to try to probe beyond the boundaries appropriate to our senses, we find ourselves in an imagination-rich environment. And here, in imagination-land, we are tempted greatly - profoundly - deeply - going where Man had never gone before - to Imagine God right out of existence. And lo! He left a chair very tempting to sit in ourselves and become "my own god for myself."

Such practical atheism is suicidal, as we see today the horrific possibilities of the self-destruction of humanity. We must beware knowing much about what is, relatively speaking, nothing, and knowing little, relatively speaking, about what is essential. Time is precious, I have learned having wasted much of it. " You wrote in your second post above, "I could easily write a book on the physics of light and how that applies to color theory." Speaking of light:
Eph 5:14 Therefore it is said, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light."
Eph 5:15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise,
Eph 5:16 making the most of the time, because the days are evil.
Eph 5:17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

I do not understand what you are saying. In the Bible we read: Romans 1:20 Creation itself testifies about its Creator. King David said in the Psalms, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands” (Ps. 19:1). It is impossible to live on this planet without recognizing God, as nature is proof to His existence.

Romans 1:20 beautifully captures the idea that creation itself bears witness to its Creator. God tells me that His Justice is as exact and as fine tuned as the universe is. His justice is as exact as the laws of Physics are. People argue against evolution but I think theistic evolution does a lot to help us understand God and His plan and purpose for us.

God's justice is not "as exact" as the laws of physics. God's justice is true and certain, which the "laws" of (for example ) quantum physics are not - they yield probabilities, not truth and certitude. God's justice IS exact. Another "law" of physics which becomes important in the field of quantum application tells the tale in its common name, the "uncertainty principle." God's justice is not "uncertain". If you want truth, you must look to God - to find and follow His principles first, then judge science in His light. To seek God in the measurements and observations of men is a beginning, to lead us to "get serious" about the unseen and supernatural from which all that is natural came. Yes, a beginning intended by God - but in itself, inadequate. Thus He gives more, not to be found in science but in Scripture, in the sacraments, through prayer, through listening to and pondering the divine mysteries revealed intentionally to a few, meant for the many, through His Church.

how advanced are you? I am 72 AND I do understand that we do not want to waste what little time we have left.
My humble advice, dear friend, is to invest less time in science and more on divine revelation. Especially now, in this precarious time in human history. And with that, I'll exit the stage....

That is a contradiction because, science is a divine revelation.
Science is a study of God's creation and God reveal's Himself in and though Creation.
Look at how well God has preserved the evidence for us to study?

For over 100 years the science of archeology has confirmed the truth we find in our Bible.

Diamond, you can’t debate or teach here as you are not Catholic. Just saying.

The majority of Catholics are Theistic Evolutionists.

What is not known is - does the Lord literally have a hand in the evolution or does He allow things to be...

The laws of physics has a lot to do with the way things are.
He made that law.

The bible tells us when He proclaimed He was making changes.
He doesn't do that much now. Perhaps to certain folks.

Theoretical Science, on the other hand, is an ever-changing mixture of men and women's thoughts on how ot might have been or how it might be.
Swing and a miss, nice try though. Einstein's theory on gravity does not falsify Newton. Everything Newton said fits into the bigger theory that Einstein developed. Knowing more does not make what we already know false as you suggest.
