Is there a completely rational stance? Atheists routinely try to convince me that I should pretend that my decisions aren't really my decisions(Free will is an illusion! Science tells us that!), but building on the rock of Christ is irrational?

Science has no opinion on free will as that is a metaphysical concept. Try to learn the very basics.

I think the problem is that we are ready for atheists to believe "now", but atheists are ready to squander their faith - until the Day that our reckoning (God's reckoning, in us) becomes apparent (to them)...
