Well, obviously, the fact that the launched a court case asking for money.

No problem, this whole thread went of the rails way back but it's a pretty good thread on the Electoral College.

But I do just want to say one more on topic thing ...

There's nothing wrong with supporting R or D parties in a system that rationally games out to a 2 party contest.

If we want more parties (and I do) then we need to change one or both of:
1-the election/voting tabulation system (some form of ranked-choice)
2-the composition of congress (at least one chamber thats national party-slate proportional)

My sense is 1 is much much more palatable to the public generally, even if the two parties fight it tooth and nail.
