Divine revelation of hell?

I have had many dreams about hell, ever since I was a small child. Generally, there is an entrance to hell in my dream, and it is in a place that I regularly visit every day. When I was at school, the entrance was through a grate in the school hall. When I started working, the entrance was via the lift (elevator) which usually took me up to my office. In both of my dreams, I went into hell and found a fellow human-being there - someone I either worked with or went to school with, and who wasn't particularly a friend, just someone I knew. In my dream, I take them out of hell and bring them out of it, all the time asking God to help me not to be afraid and to help me get out of hell.

I believe God gives us visions of hell as a way of helping to bring people out of it - that is to bring them to salvation. For me particularly, it as helped me to be aware of something I don't like to think about and has prompted me to do something about it by evangelising.

As for the usefulness of telling people about our visions of hell - I don't really know what to say. I have never felt compelled to tell anyone what hell was like when I dreamt of it. I just want to make sure that I have a relationship with Jesus and that others do too.
